Stipe isn't the most athletic guy, but he really is one of the meanest and nastiest fighters when the cage closes. He definitely has that "switch" where he turns into a train wreck. Even when he wins he is angry (see his knockout over Werdum). Once he leaves the Octagon, he is back to normal. He doesn't get enough credit for his championship level focus.

I am confused about the Woke comment. What do you mean? I must have missed something. The original term was "awake." If you're awake, you understand what being awake means. It means you go through a metamorphosis, and you can see reality in a completely different way.
