There are 64 possible Insta Monkeys for each tower type, and there are 19 towers in total.
That's a grand total of 1216 different Insta Monkeys, and that's not taking in account the chances of them repeating

Well, isn't something Hard defined by the amount of time and effort you have to put into it ? 365 chests is a lot of effort to out and takes a whole year.

There's always a debate. Is a long grind hard? I don't think so. getting 1000000 money, 365 chests, etc. aren't hard. They're actually really easy, but take a long time.

Hard can be defined as the amount of effort put into something. So you're wrong.
yes, what your talking about is difficulty not how hard it is.
Sure the chest is just time consuming but the money takes skill and time to complete it inc the other three that's why its hard.
Having played FFXI since close to it's launch, yeah. Long grinds aren't hard or difficult. There's no skill requirement to doing something that just takes a year to do.
For those that don't know, FFXI is a MMO. It has a weapon tier known as "ultimate weapons". There is currently essentially 4 versions of these, Relics, Mythics, Empyreans and Aeonics.
Relics used to take a year or so to get, and still take around a month of grinding.
Mythics were also around a year or so to get, and are probably currently much longer than Relics.
Empyreans became a lot quicker to initially get, but much harder to max out - At launch you could unlock one in a few days of no-lifing, but it takes probably 2-3 months to max one out.
Then there's Aeonics.
So, relics took next to no effort. There were a few one-time challenges for them, but those were required for OTHER things as well, so not really directly tied to relics themselves. And all of these challenges except like, one, is stupidly easy to solo these days.
So Relics were just a long time investment, aside from the difficulties of running a Dynamis guild. But I don't really consider guild management to be part of the difficulty of actually acquiring something, and that particular point is completely moot these days anyway.
Next, Mythics. Mythics at launch required QUITE a lot of skill to get, due to requiring you to complete pretty much all of the endgame at the time per mythic. These days... well, you can kinda just one-shot most of them due to powercreep. So, used to be hard, is now just long.
Empyreans... were never "really" hard, as half the stuff you have to fight to unlock and upgrade them was duoable at launch, it was just time consuming. So again, not really... hard. Just time consuming.
Then came Aeonics.
Aeonics are the most recent, and most current, ultimate weapon. While some jobs definitely still optimally want relics/mythics/empyreans, Aeonics are the ones that aren't from massively outdated content.
Aeonics take less than a day to unlock.
But they require defeating every. single. Escha. Boss.
FFXI has a very famous stupidly difficult boss known as Absolute Virtue. Back during this guy's reign, he was likely in the top 20 most difficult bosses in any game.
Escha's final boss, the one you have to kill to get an Aeonic, is a powered up, revamped version of Absolute Virtue.
That's right.
One of the hardest bosses to ever grace gaming, got a powered up version, and is required for an Aeonic.
THAT?
THAT is what a hard, difficult unlock is.
Getting something that's simply gated behind time and RNG isn't really... hard. At all. Literally anyone could get it.
Getting something that's gated behind a challenge that, simply put, the vast majority of people simply will never be able to do?
THAT is hard.
No one without a disability considers it "hard" to walk 10 miles.
But it's "hard" to run 10 miles.
If something has a skill requirement of literally 0, it's not hard to do. Time consuming? Yeah.
It's not "hard" to win the lottery, it's unlikely.
It's not "hard" to write to 1000, it's just boring.
It's not "hard" to mine a chunk out in Minecraft, it's just boring and time consuming and mostly pointless.
Something being hard to do and not wanting to do something are not the same thing.
The thing with the insta moneky black borders is that the only time you will get the 2-2-0, 2-0-2, 0-2-2, and 1-1-0, 1-0-1, 0-1-1 and the 0-0-0 cross paths is in the daily event prizes making them even more rare as those cross paths aren't inside the collection event at all. I have every other cross paths with a ton on multiples on all the monkeys but those paths on them all.
Only ones i have in those paths are won from daily events if i am lucky enough to catch them.
or you could belike me and beat chimps and only get a 3 0 2 dart monkey and they call it a reward
I commonly get towers like that from beating round 100. You can possibly farm them on easy cause I've never gotten more than a 2-2-0 on easy

The thing about the 1 mil is unique completions as well, like if you do all the easy and medium maps one time it would probably be better than just grinding easy on dark castle

I’ve actually got three 5th tier instas and lots of fourth tiers, the amount of time to farm lower tier ones would be insanely hard

I got a 1st place metal wayyy back when races first came out and I haven't done any races since, but tbh this has given me a want to get the other two, and I'm absolutely willing to sacrifice my sanity for this

I have never used an insta monkey or power-up in btd6. I have not grinded for either, so i only have a little over 200 insta and I think around 120 power-ups.
Well, the game’s only been out for 2 years. Of course not many players have the chest opened 365 times.
Corection on nr3 u can afk grind on Hard dark castle with a layout that ISAB found 👀

Big Spender is actually pretty easy. (I got big spender from easy four circles, sold super mines, monke wall street, a bunch of central markets, monkenomics, a bunch of imf loans, bucc and boomer paragon.) And i think i got it on round 110-120(?)
It is pretty hard to get a 5-4-3 druid or 2-9-4 glue gunner in btd6

Getting the black borders aren't to difficult. Some in depth guides take the time to lay out when to use abilities and such so it's pretty easy compared to everything else on the list

@@cancer_enhancer7083 I only use guides for starting some boss runs or challenges I can't get in like 20 attempts. The game is about strategy so using full on guides is cheating to me. But they do exist so a newbie could easily follow the guides out there and get all black borders

i have a opinion to give to the development team NK but my is if you want get a legendary instas first like chimps mode on beginner maps give 25% of a legendary insta (this increases the chance if you play harder maps like experts gives 100%)
atm for new players, getting the all maps, is the first task

i really badly want to have all of the insta monkeys black bordered... i already wanted it cause i love completing stuff, its like completing the entire pokedex, something i have done already. but now that i know that theres a black border for every insta i want it even more, cause its like a reward. even though it literally doesnt give you anything of actual value its somehow really effective in just acknowledging the fact that youve got em all

that's cool and all but quick reminder that nobody even has knowledge level 13 on a single tower/buff in bloons monkey city mobile yet the maximum is 15 (by the current leader he said it'd take 10 years of actual grinding to get level 15 knowledge everywhere)

Don't know if it's been said already, but I believe that getting all Insta-Monkeys Black Bordered is made even harder simply because of Tier 0s. All other Tiers are at least mathematically possible to obtain (T1 and T2 from Daily Chest, T3 and T4 from Round 100, T5 from Diamond Chest), but T0 is legitimately impossible for at least a few towers because the only way to get them is through the Daily Challenges. This means that you're completely at the mercy of NK to put a T0 as a reward, which is extremely unlikely and hasn't even been done for certain towers. Who would've thought that the lowest level Instas are the absolute hardest to get?
not anymore, for tier 0,1,2 just do easy and intermediate maps to round 100

0:35 Don't say "exactly one year" because a year isn't 365 days, its 365 days and about a fourth of a day. (That's why we have leap years).
Getting the race medals is hard.
However, getting all race medals on a phone, now that is a challenge.
