As a Field Service Engineer, I can share a use for the Marangoni affect. In semiconductor wafer Manufacturing it can be used to dry silicon wafers with minimal residual contamination. Think toaster with silicon wafers in it, and injecting heated Isopropyl alcohol spray from the bottom. The Delta in polarity forces the water to shed from the wafers. The presence of contaminants can ruin a piece of silicon used in microchip manufacturing.
This is called the marangoni effect, it’s due to difference in surface tension of the two liquids being water(high surface tension) and soap(low surface tension) there’s a pull effect from the low to high which creates this motion in the liquid. Your welcome.🙏
Dilll is not being pushed out but the water at the periphery attracts it. For the color experiment you mentioned that its being pushed out from the center. Can you clarify please. Apologies if this sounds likr nitpicking.
I'm also a mad science lover just like u. I was impressed by your videos because I understood your love towards science. I hope u get a million subscribers. And we are eager to see your other videos

Another great and super- video!
Thanks again!

Thank you for your kind words! I haven't given up on the channel, I'm just taking a break from videos for a bit. :)
Now that’s awesome! You got my sub! I love seeing these. It looks like the water turned into unicorn water
Awesome! Thank you! Always good to hear.
Awesome 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Here in Brazil we like to say "this is crazy enough to be true" i like that science is crazy an so true
Thanks for watching! And yes! Science is pretty much just magic with a few extra steps. :)
Super interesting! Loved it!
Thanks! I'm glad you found us :)
We investigate Marangoni effect to accelerate food drying. This accelerates the process.
Awesome. You should have millions of subs.
