It appears they removed this feature??! As of 4/8/22 there is no longer a plus next to the pen to add signature and such. Really wish they hadn’t done that. Pretty infuriating actually.
It’s not outdated, he’s just doing it in a weird way. In the notes app it doesn’t show. But if you open a pdf for example from the Files app and then choose markup, THEN the plus sign appears as in this video. It’s not entirely clear from this video.
Don’t know why he is saying from the Notes app. If you open any PDF, for example saved in files and choose markup from there - Then the plus sign appears.
