Main reason is we actually adjust our oral communication for our foreign and local visitors outside zamboanga that do not speak or understand chavacano, for everyone to understand each other and make them feel comfortable. As for our daily life oral communication will always be mainly on chavacano, especially on the rural areas. Aquel lang. Bye.... 😂
Exactly, it is really amazing to hear. In fact, most of the Filipino people speaks more than one languages. For instance, a person can speak Tagalog/Filipino and English, and the other one can speak another Philippine language which is Cebuano and English. It really depends on what region you are from. Most of the people outside Manila can speak three languages which are Tagalog, English and another Philippine language. Most of the Tagalog speakers can only speak two because apparently they don’t really have to learn another language because they can already speak the two Philippine official languages (Filipino and English).
You, twin sisters, are so amazing! Your videos are eyecandies to those who want to travel the country. Thank you for your enthusiasm and love for the Philippines and Filipinos. Mabuhay!!!

not sure f i missed some of your zamboanga vlogs but id like to see/hear more of your interactions with the local people where they speak chavacano and you respond in either latin or Spanish and vice versa just to connect and gauge how far the conversation goes and turn out. 😊 Please do vlogs like going to the local market and try to interact with them using your language i know for sure you would still be able to understand 80-90% of the chavacano language
I went there before in sta. Cruz Island. So beautiful, and the pink sand amazing. Enjoy your hoping in beautiful Lear water and most of all the beautiful sandbeach. 👍
Less known than the seasonal pink sand,Sta. Cruz Island has a lagoon that's teeming with salt water flora and fauna. Tourists to the island can book a trip to the lagoon, too.I think it's safer to swim in the lagoon than the waters by the beach because I heard on many occasions that there is a strong underwater/rip current very near the shore. The water there does not deepen gradually. If one is not a very strong swimmer,he would be ill- advised to swim there. Onse Islas(Eleven Islands)I think is a better option for swimming and snorkelling.
Yes it's really beautiful place to swimming I've been there in sta Cruz island before when I was a kid my mom and dad was in a military service we ride together in speed boat from the Philippine Navy

Wow I want to go there. How far is it from the airport? The airport is in Dipolog right? What are the recommended hotels in there? Preferably not too expensive.
Everything is close, it is a small city. I recommend hotel Canelar for their great customer service and right there by the airport. Or hotel CityLand that is downtown close to the center of the city
I notice that zamboangueños no longer speak much in chavacano. They speak mostly in tagalog bisaya and english as what I noticed in this video. They did not preserve this beautiful language which serve as the legacy of our past. They were supposed to be the remaining memory as we the Filipinos as still part of Hispanic world. They are no longer used this language as the common language of Zamboanga.I think its also already dying even in the said latin city of the south. The reason why they are being called as latin city because of this language. It is already taken over mostly of bisaya and a few tagalog language.
