@@curse3959 what? South Italy has hot wonderful places, from beaches to great historical cities like Naples or Palermo. And if you are talking about dirty and crime rate remember that also in North Italy you can find these problems.
I'd love to go to Germany, but I'm ever so conflicted by seeing either Cologne or Dresden (I'm motivated by the gorgeous architecture in both cases but they're not exactly close to each other). Any help? It's just SUCH a stunning country!
I'm a German living near Cologne, and personally I'd choose Dresden over Cologne any day. Having suffered the most among all German cities from allied air raids, after 1945 Cologne suffered a "second destruction" during the reconstruction period when it was turned into what was called "autofreundliche Stadt" (car-friendly city). Many historic buildings which had suffered only moderate damage and could have been restored with little effort were teared down for city highways, main streets and "modern" architecture. Pretty much the onlyremaining architectural landmark worth visiting is the gothic cathedral, and some of the romanic churches. If you're into historic German residential cities, I recommend visiting Dresden or Munich. They did more things right when rebuilding, compared to Cologne. Edit: Also, Erfurt (Thuringia) or Regensburg (Bavaria). These are the only two major German cities which didn't have to suffer allied area bombing during WWII and thus still have their original historic old towns.
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Hey richtig cool!!

Dresden has more to offer than the "historic" city. On the other side of the Elbe there is the new town, made up of old 19th century buildings. Then there is the elbe river with its beautiful meadows, the dresden zoo, the museums, the parks, centurys old jewish graveyards. You have so many jewels to explore.

The suburbs were built by communist DDR, but also wonderful and famous cities like Prague or Saint Petersburg have ugly soviet-style blocks. However, the major historical monuments were incredibly rebuilt as they liked before bombing. The Altstadt has a lot of wonderful streets.
