I clearly recall my first reading of this series. This was upon the first issue's release. Warren Ellis' thoughts on the evolution and endpoint of post-human construction and existence, unchecked? I knew it would be great. What I didn't know was just how hard the story would hit me, or how vicious, mean-spirited, and just plain sensible it would be, or how stubbornly it would cling to and pervert/alter my perceptions of basic human decency tested in the face of avoidable catastrophe, which is just another way of saying I dived into the story wielding somewhat unsustainable hope/naiveté. I read it again a year or so later. The impact was, if anything, greater, more substantial. A year later, again. And again, a few years later. And again. A few years after the fifth read, I stumbled over your adaptation. I reckoned I couldn't feel the story, the nerve, the hope, horror, and sheer damned fascination any more than I'd already done down the years, since the beginning of the initial publication. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. The soundtrack, the sound effects, the narrators...THE NARRATORS... This is perhaps my fourth time watching. You folks are truly something else. Keep up the awesome work. Funny thing about Vishnu being blue, technically in the scripts, he's not blue. The blue in his art is to represent how he's holding the drop of venom in his throat while still functioning. If he was to swallow or breathe normally, the cobra venom in his throat would kill him. So take in how he lives to the fullest while maintaining perfect control of his body and his inner self control and peace allows him to never be bothered by this effort.

I really really enjoyed this. This is one of those pieces of fiction that really makes you think after watching or reading it, it's so dire and hopless and intriguing and it makes me ponder how small as humans (monkeys) we really are it's horrific but satisfying at the same time great job for putting this out I really enjoyed it.

If you look at the cellphone at 1:19:53, you'll see that the call was disconnected. The scientist wasn't talking to anyone. This history of the end of the world was never recorded. It's just the end. Pretty sad.

First, if they ever make a movie or series based on Supergod, it won't stand up to what you have done here. Second, where did you get the dialogue for Krishna, Malak, etc.? It was great, but it wasn't in the book. Certainly not complaining, just curious.
For Krishna I found an old recording of an old Indian woman read the Badavadgita. I recon it fit pretty well with what he was doing in a sick kinda way🤷♂️ For Malak I got a recording of Anton Lava the Satanist quoting the satanic bible. The Soviet cyborg was me saying “I had a name but I do not remember it. My heart is a nuclear reactor I’m not afraid of death” Then after Jerry tells him to make peace with God... I did a Russian orthodoxy prayer. I just wanted to give the monsters a bit more character is all.

I would love a darksouls/supergods game. This lore mixed with from softwares game development with a slightly more focused story. Cant believe they haven't made a super heroes gone bad RPG. Supergods took the world. Tommy waking up in a crashed ISS, Infected by nanites/spores/android components( whichever class you pick maybe?) dark and gripping bosses, the goal would be to become powerful enough to crush the supergods without becoming the ultimate one yourself.
Yes! I thought the same thing. A pantheon of artificial gods, each with their faction in a world that recreates the fantastical elements of religion with science. Lots of potential.
The name of this video caught my attention because I have the (4?) comics in the series. It's been a long time since I read them, so watching this movie will entice me to return to the comics.
