Wow man, so much good info here... Thanks for pointing out so many things to look for. It is clear that you have forgotten more about coins than I will ever know! Carry on!
I’m not new to grading Morgans but this was definitely informative. What a great video, definitely felt like I learned more. Great breakdown of how the coin wears and the high points. So I would say MS 62 on that one
Just starting out with researching Morgans and watching lots of videos, but this is one of the best. Thanks! I just get the 2025 Redbook and I’ll check out the 1982 book you described as the best texting on Morgan’s. Is there a free or low car only guide to currency pricing fuel the many mintings of this series? Thanks again.
I found this very helpful and enjoyed how you talked through the process. MS61 seems right. One suggestion, and maybe you have gone this way with newer videos but I find the background music distracting.
Just getting started in the hobby. Sure seems like it will be a fun time. I've got a small collection of coins from the folk's. not much, but it might get me started.I really enjoyed your video and hope I learned something. Thanks!!
Hello TPS, I just came across your video from a few months back, on how to grade a Morgan dollar. I hope you get this post, as I've purchased a 1921D Morgan dollar and I think I got ripped off. I was wondering if you could help a new stacker out and maybe I won't make this mistake again.
Excellent: esp. the part of the (specifics) of the High Points and the Heat Map. Excellent again; thank you.
Thanks for watching, so glad you found it helpful! Lots of other videos like it on my channel, and more to come!
This is one of the best explanations of grading Morgan's. I learned alot thanks.
I'm glad you found it helpful!!

Thanks for the encouragement, I am new to it, just studied a bit and still have a LOT to learn.

Thanks for your encouragement, I hope it's helping people.
I would agree this coin is MS61 👍
I could MAYBE justify MS62, but I lean conservatively in most cases.

Thank you so much for the kind words, so glad it was that helpful!!
I believe the PCGS Coin Facts is still available to download. It has photos of coins that you can compare your coins to as well prices.
You earned my subscription. This video was much better than I thought it was going to be.
I think you were being a little conservative with your estimate though. I'd have this at a MS-62 all day long.
Glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching!

I've got one Morgan. At least I know what to look for when I decide to get another. These are some great videos, Potts.

I’ll have to rewatch 👌
I would say MS62 on the grade. The main part I learned was about the high points.
Just picked up a 1891cc in a newmans belt buckle. Jeweler is currently pulling it for me. Im not sure it ever left the sock drawer.
