We need your continued support so we can continue this humble program of ours.
We need people like you so we can reach poor Filipino families, one at a time.
I've been helping and reaching my fellow Filipinos for more than a decade, since 2006, but without recording it on film.
I just decided to film the activities we do in 2015 to spread awareness.
This time guys: I need your help. I need your helping hands to give joy to Filipino families, one at a time.
    How it works:
Your contribution goes straight to the individual/family we reach/help.
After we reached/helped 1 individual/family: We then move on to help another.
Our objective is to reach 1 economically poor individual/family, one at a time.
    Important notes:
    1. I personally don't receive/get/take/pocket any amount of financial contributions from you guys.
Your contributions go straight to the families we reach and to other expenses.
    2. I do not publish on youtube the stories of the families we reach w/o a signed release agreement and parental/guardian consent.
The release agreement gives me a permission to publish their stories on youtube.
    3. Business, personal and GoFundMe fundraiser accounts: All the funds, contributions, sources of income and other monetary sources that go into my accounts are being reported to the taxman. My bank also reports to the taxman every year, by the end of the year, FYI.
There's a Certified Public Accountant who does the accounting and auditing of my accounts.
The Certified Public Accountant reports to the taxman.
    4. You don't need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution to give help to people in the Philippines.
Reaching and giving help to people in the Philippines is not illegal.
There's no law that states, that you need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution first, before you are able to give help to people legally.
    5. GoFundMe checks the fundraiser account from time to time.
They sometimes ask for verification and validation.
The reason why I upload films/videos about poverty in the Philippines is to spread social awareness.
To combat economic inequality, social injustice, oppression, repression, abuse and exploitation:
1st: We have to be aware.
    2nd: We should pay attention.
3rd: We are ought to do something about it.
We as Filipinos and citizens of this planet should not turn a blind eye, not to play deaf and not to pretend mute.
We as human beings have a responsibility to give care and to show compassion to others.
We as citizens have a great responsibility to safeguard our ball of genuine democracy.
We as citizens have a responsibility to fight tyranny and corruption.
A documentary film/video like this one is very important, because it opens our eyes to the unjust societal reality.
How could we turn a blind eye on social injustice and huge economic inequality?
    Wake up, my fellow citizens!

Mark or Jenna ... What would happen if the Philippino people decided to mass protest against government corruption and there was thousands of protesters.. what would happen?? What action would the government take ? Are peaceful protests legal in the Philippines?? Do Philippines citizens have a right to protest enshrined in the constitution?? What do you think in your opinion, how would the government react to mass protests??

If that was available to her I'm pretty sure she would have taken it! Healthcare In the Philippines is only for the wealthy. Plus the Catholic church has huge powers d control in the Philippines they would object to the government providing this service for women , as the Catholic church had massive power and control in Ireland and previous generations like my grandmother pumping out kids every year because birth control wasn't available! The Catholic church said NO and the government listened to them and did for many years . Thankfully Ireland is no longer controlled by the Catholic church ,now women have access to birth control in all different forms we get education on sex and pregnancy. When sex isn't talked about properly..how would they know about safe sex?

God Bless you Mark and Team for helping. 9 children X 9 months pregnant= 8.1 years pregnant since 14 yrs old. That would take a toll on any woman. You can see the children and mother love each other very much. She says her 12 year old and her 14 year old can feed themselves. She's very wrong, they need a stable home, safety, love and family. Parenting doesn't stop at that age. This is when they need their parents for guidance even more. When you have children you don't throw them out at 12 years old to fend for themselves, what about human trafficking. Hold your children as tight as you can, and don't close the door on them. God Bless them.

Birth control is free in the Philippines. Poor people see their children as their retirement plan hence the large families. Parents like this are happy to let their children beg, scavenge, make them eat garbage food (pagpag), be abused or trafficked. Women go overseas to become illegals or become victims of organised crimes. We have the highest teen rate of pregnancy in Asia if not the world. Some overseas workers are killed and disappear. We are called the coolie labour of Asia. It’s hard to help people who do not help themselves. The government can only do so much since only 30% of Filipinos pay taxes. It’s not always the fault of the government. Only in the Philippines. 🙄🙄🙄

Each poverty family have 8 or mor kids, these young mother and father needs guidance, support, education, contraceptive to help them, it should be the Priority to help and guide these young adults.

These kids at very young age already experiencing very very HARDSHIP, instead of going to school, playing with their own friends, they are working for a living, I think these parents have kids so they can WORK even very young to SUPPORT the parents, it’s the other way around, instead of the parents providing, supporting their kids, the kids are the one suffering working to help the parents. It’s not right, it’s not good for the kids, it’s not their fault they didn’t even ask to be born, but they are born to suffer in life, I guess it’s OK because JESUS suffer for us, so these kids will suffer because they owe their life to their parents so the parents use their kids to work.

The victim here are the small kids, they are not living the standard normal living, No Decent nutrition,No Education, No normal socialization to their own same age kids, No medical check-up, No normal upbringing, No decent place to live, it’s very very Sad, I understand God said, reproduce but you have to weigh the situation if you can afford to bring kids in a normal upbringing, I understand these couples are non- educated, what the government priority to establish is to educate these parents or have contraceptions or any EDUCATION to GUIDE them, to show a way to prevent having these kids to SUFfER, because the kids are the one who suffer. GOD doesn’t say produce kids even if they suffer.

Mark is right. Filipinos are very tribal in their attitudes like Africans. And like Africa we have too many poor people that cannot be sustained and supported. Like Africa we are overpopulated with high crime rates. It’s not always the fault of the government. Money do not grow on trees. You cannot help those who do not help themselves. Filipinos like to say “bahala na” (what will be will be) and “we leave everything to God”. They have fatalistic attitudes hence have this laziness to think of the future and keep having many kids. 🙄🙄🙄 So frustrating for the hardworking taxpayers.

Pregnant at 14 is a crime! It can cause a fissure!!! Yes, a long hard labor that is risky because the pelvis is too small and underdeveloped. A fissure can cause permanent incontinence both of bowel and urine. Very serious. 😢😢😢

Please remember to the comments to have respect about having children remember in Filipins it's very Taboo to think about getting the mother fixed unless it's for health reasons sad but true and families like this its hard to afford birth control very strict Catholic families do not believe in birth control they believe in marriage

Please remember that having many kids you cannot afford is child abuse. Please remember that these people always ask for help from the government and they don’t pay taxes.

I was just trying to explain this to somebody else in the comments, I'm from Ireland and the Catholic church had massive powers and control for years in Ireland, very similar to the way it is in the Philippines now . Thankfully Ireland is no longer controlled by the Catholic church and many Irish people have turned their back on the church because of the horrors they inflicted on the Irish population in particular women and children!
Look up the Magdalene laundries..it's brutal so be prepared!
2 Irish movies about these issues is The Magdelene sisters and Song for a raggy boy .
Song for raggy boy is hard to watch but it's an accurate depiction of what those industrial schools, orphanages and Magdelene laundries were like .
Nuns taught my mother and aunties in school and the nuns would beat the shit out of the kids with special chunks of wood , specially made for beating kids with .sick sick sick evil bastards.
When you have institutions like the Catholic chruch who have so much influence over the people, these same issues seem to come up.
