i think i should tell u my story... whole life i was pure windows user, but since im growing human being, im getting more experienced and advanced at computers and stuff. finally it ended up with my programming ed. this year i tried arch for a couple of times, slowly learning about unix-like OSs, and finally decided to move on arch linux for try on gaming setup. after whole night being stuck with completely broken kernel configs, i ended up with reset the whole ssd and start system from scratch. while im writing this paper, i already forgot wat was the point of it, but now NOW i FINALLY got NVIDIA drivers NOT CRASHING MY ENTIRE SYSTEM YEEEAHH. im just so happy =D almost cry
Thank you so much! This helped me understand linux a bit more :D now i hope i can install the game i want but thats a project for tomorrow but for now big thanks for a great video!
Btw Guys if you r getting error of headers after successfull install of nvidia-390-dkms package just simply type: sudo pacman -S linux-headers And it will automatically patch headers with you existing linux kernel, for me it is 5.19 right now
I have the ame Intel processor.... But my laptop has some refresh rate issue after coming to arch. If u have any solution pls help me Thanks for the nice vid btw
Make sure you have installed the correct driver for your processor. If the installed driver is faulty try downgrading your driver to see if it resolves the issue. bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=210479

Just a general message pacman puts out, nothing to worry about. For the more technically inclined 'A new condition ConditionNeedsUpdate= has been added. With this mechanism it is possible to conditionalize execution of services depending on whether /usr is newer than /etc or /var. The idea is that various services that need to be added into the boot process on upgrades make use of this to not delay boot-ups on normal boots, but run as necessary should /usr have been update since the last boot. This is implemented based on the mtime timestamp of the /usr: if the OS has been updated the packaging software should touch the directory, thus informing all instances that an upgrade of /etc and /var might be necessary. ' Hope it helps.

Ask the Arch forum, they'll help you to tackle down what the issue is. Or ask on the Arch internet relay chat.

I am elated, glad I could be of help.
How I do the same research as you, get the proper drivers for my specific hardware and install them ?
Read the wiki
Thanks!.
You're welcome! Please spread the good word around if you found it useful.
I have AMD (Ryzen 5) + AMD graphics (Picasso) + Nvidia GTX1650Ti, hybrid graphics
That is a nice combination... best of luck for your drivers.
