This is just as epic as Zeppelin's Achilles Last Stand from '79! FUCK, these guys can jam so fucking good, and (not at least) reproduce whatever they put on an album in a true live performance, no backing tracks or anything, just them against the world! This is why they are the greatest band of the 21st century!
Ghost will never be as awesome as Blood Ceremony, because Sean and Alia doesn't write songs for Ghost! Also, every member of Blood Ceremony is really talented and synergies each other very well. And, even if Ghost and Blood Ceremony kinda falls under the same theme (but they also don't), Blood Ceremony doesn't feel like a cheesy halloween party in a American Pie movie. Blood Ceremony feel old school, well read and genuine. They are without doubt the greatest, and most underrated band of the 21st century! The old ways remain, all hail Pan!
Such a great band, hope to see them again live now that I know more about them. Saw them open for Ghost once and had no clue who they were at the time. Been hooked ever since, really great band.
O. K. I think the new drummer doesn´t have the power and the energy like Andrew Haust, it´s like Mike Portnoy: the knowledge and the fury and the new drummer only has the knowledge.

I remember seeing them in Hollywood that same year opening for Ghost. They blew Ghost away in my opinion.

original bassist and drummer quit... but the band is tighter now. Though the old band was just as good.
