So does anyone know why artists have unreleased songs in the first place? If it's because it's too personal/sensitive, why bother finishing it if you know you're not gonna release it nonetheless? If it does not fit the album, can't you just change it for the better, or save it up for later? Unless that's what she's doing! Though, I think having unreleased songs in general are just a waste of work D:

Its not finished yet. f.) The song hasn't been cleared by them or their record label to be released. g.) It has a sample on it that hasn't been cleared. h.) It hasn't been properly mixed, mastered or engineered yet. i.) Its a demo. Most of these tracks aren't released for these reasons, and most of them are leaked anyway, which (unless the artist allowed it to be leaked (and most do, by the way)) means they never intended it to come out anyway.
