We need to check for IDs when voting, everyone has an ID. You need ID to open bank account, to apply for unemployment, to apply to welfare. Asking for ID is not discrimination
You're right. Interesting how the progressive-left has no problem with requiring ID (for age verification) to purchase liquor, pot and even tobacco, but requiring it for voting is "disenfranching people."
Easy fix. In person voting on election day with a valid ID, absentee ballots by request only and must arrive by election day, English only ballots, no ballot harvesting allowed and count completed in 24 hours!
@@Thomas23-tu8gj It didn't work well for a lot of people. People who had to work or take care of kids or just didn't have good transportation had a harder time voting.
Wow -- so many red flags about this ROV/IT employee! I wonder if there is an underlying corruption crime ongoing, that's kept this man in a taxpayer - funded position for so very long!
Can soCan someone explain how this happened to my wife's ballot? We currently live in Contra Costa County near Walnut Creek. My wife voted in the California recall election last summer, so she is registered at our current address. By late October, neither her ballot nor mine had arrived in the mail, so we called the voter registration office in Contra Costa County. They claimed my ballot was lost in the mail and sent me a new one. However, my wife's ballot was sent to an address in Oakland where she hasn’t lived in over a decade. What I want to understand is how her ballot could have been sent to a home in Oakland, rather than to our current address in Contra Costa County, where she most recently voted. I truly want to track down how this happened. Who do I call? Why would they do that? She didn’t vote, and we don’t know what happened to her ballot.
Obviously, your wife needs to confirm her registration information with the Contra Costa County registrar (and while you're at it, confirm yours as well). It's simple enough.
If talking about the Governor recall election, that happened in 2021. Should be able to update address online, but may need to go to the county register to make sure address is correct. I am also in CoCo county and review my registration each election. Signed up for Where's My Ballot so I know when it was sent to me and when it was counted.
@@Thomas23-tu8gj But it was confirmed in 2021 and we hadn't moved or made any changes. How does her address revert to a different county at a place she hasn't lived or voted at in over a decade? We will be making calls as soon as there is time, but how did it happen for this general election?
Skip to 1:30 if you're curious if there's any factual case. Then skip everything after 2:30. Local TV news never fails to disappoint.
Time for change
Citizens united is full of crap

Have you voted in CA and not shown your ID ?

In other words, let's go back to the way it worked so well for generations. Here, here!

Is the tsar of the registrar?
Well stop cheating!

@@nomenclature9373 We will need to learn more about "Where's My Ballot." Is there a web page?
Your wife voted Democrat, she just didn't know it.
Asians united on the other hand is okay 👍
Wow what a massive group!
His term should be up for both jobs. Its time for change.
Doing both jobs is a crime in itself. There is no way he should be head of IT and ROV for as long as he has.
TRUMP, make voter ID a federal mandate. Count votes within specified time, under video surveillance, so anyone can see if there is a fairness.
