But we also defeated Malaysia in BAMTC 2023 and won bronze medal. Going by Rankings we had atleast 1 player/pair in top 20 in the world in January 2023 which had never happened before.

And Srikanth has missed 2 tournaments one is during his recovery period and one during the pandemic. And he stood at some 20+ world rank so he automatically got disqualified for Olympics. But don't worry je would had started preparation for 2024 Olympics by now.
