@@ninat4869 Look into the finances. Tuition doesn't go into investments, investment income is used to supplement tuition. Tuition only pays about a third of the cost of running the university and investment income pays part of the remainder. Tuition would be HIGHER without these investments, not lower. Somehow I don't think these students would be willing to pay the difference, when they're already screaming for Biden to forgive their student debt.

What is the purpose of putting the ages? Is that meant to suggest they were not students? Not all students are straight out of highschool. And what about faculty or alumni? I feel like this was another effort to pretend the protests are not organic actions based on the conscience of the people who are affiliated with the universities. If the stats about age were about something else. I am at a loss about why they were posted.

They have been buying admins and professors all through California and all over the Ivy League, Billions of dollars of oil money buys a lot of poorly paid professors and college administratros--even buys some campus police chiefs and in the UK, it buys way more than a mere campus policeman.
