Hey I've watched your other video and i do understand where you're coming when asking for a slight redesign and i hope they do as well. That being said i do recommend you use a 3rd party cage, some include usb-c port for changing built in and tilta had a cooling cage as well.
I do use the third party cases but the ones with usb c aren’t water resistant. Also, it’s an added cost for something that they should cover. They’re doubled down on this design with their 128gb rerelease. Disappointing because they update their software so well. They’re dying on this hill with their hardware
@@CREATIVEreviews I understand bro, I have the action 4 and it's great but I need a camera for my paintball marker and the action 2 seems to be the best option. The market is small for it, that's why it's not a main focus for them.
@@CREATIVEreviews1. they should make it longer to have a larger battery ( maybe a removable battery as well). 2. Upgrade the mounting brackets to the ones on the action 3 and 4. 3. With it being larger they can have a slot for a memory card Bd the main body. We just want something better then the GoPro hero 5
Im currently thinking about using two Action 2 cameras to get some unusual angles (unfortunatly i won't have a choice but to stick the cameras magnetically in position, as i won't be able to use adhesive mounts) I just hope the cameras don't fall off (i don't think i will need to worry about the cameras getting crushed) And i'm now wondering if i should not bother with having the case on one of the cameras (i only have 1 case, as the 32GB Action 2 i have didn't come with a case (i purchased it from a third party that doesn't stock the cases, and that experience made me decide i won't ever buy another DJI product (and i then went against my word and bought a 128GB Action 2, but I have made up my mind, and apart from buying accessories for my Action 2 cameras, I will stick to GoPro)))
@@CREATIVEreviews The cameras will be attached to something moving, but i think they should stay attached (i used a flat peice of metal to see if the cameras are likely to stay put, while moving it around similar to how the machine moves) If the cameras did come off, they would just land in a pile of dirt (athough i suppose one thing i could try is placing the camera amongst the dirt, and maybe have the machine lift the camera out of the dirt, but then i would have to be careful the machine doesn't damage the camera)
Literally days after buying the DJI action 2 2024 refresh, it’s defects led to it becoming unattached from its case and falling 🙄

You’re using them stationary right? 100% the magnetic mount shouldn’t be used by it self for anything moving
