You are right, in the live shows instead of the rap SuMetal pumps up the crowd. They did perform the rap at least once live that I know of… The downside to not performing the rap is the jump back to metal isn’t as jarring.
Oh another I thought of, if you like their "EDM" type of stuff, you should also check out their one-time-only EDM influenced headbanger live show; "BabyMetal Legend of 1997 'Headbanger' Night of 15 Mix" .... it's incredible! You should react to Bollywood Babymetal with “shanti Shanti Shanti”. There last album covered so many genre’s and countries “papaya” had a Thai rapper. They have done songs with the lead from Sabaton and of course there live performance with the Metal God Robb Halford with Painkiller and Breaking the law and the band absolutely crushed it.
This Is such a FUN Song! Surely they started Young, but i can't see them going down the kawaii-metal genre for much longer, since there Is some Age limits. Unless they reinvent themselves or change members 😁
i'd still say they've got a cute appeal to them, just in a more mature kinda way, if that makes sense. even if they aren't doing "kawaii" metal anymore, that cuteness angle is kinda integral to who they are, & i can't see them ditching it entirely.

I think their last album, Metal Galaxy, took them pretty far away from their earlier cutesy stuff. Most of the songs were quite mature.
