All depends on SC offense. LSU will struggle against the SC defense a bit but will end up getting 3-4 touchdowns.
If SC can put up 4 or more touchdowns on offense, that should likely win it for us IMO.
Maybe you need to look at level of competition that your defense has faced this year. Neither team had a OLine as good as LSUs. Not even close. Neither had the WRs and TEs tigers possess. They definitely don't have a QB on Nuss's level.
What is the strength of the cock's offense? The worst 2 offenses in SEC are you and the team you just beat.

The pass rush D Carolina showed in Kentucky and the lack of a run game from LSU make me think Carolina will pull out the upset (also it’s Carolina they are know for beating teams they have absolutely no reason beating) just my opinion I could be wrong we will see Saturday

Versus KY was a eye opener at how good we could be, but I don't see us competing at that level on a weekly basis. I think our defense will wear out having to play that hard against the next 4 teams. As bad as I want us to win this and get ranked again, I am still not sure we can pull it off. SC has a history of going 3 and out in a matter of seconds, which puts our defense right back on the field with no time to rest. Hoping we can pace our offense and convert on third so our strong defense can rest some and come back out to play tough. Maybe if we can do those things we can control the clock enough to win by a field goal.
LSU is going to run the ball extremely well in this game. Southern Cal & Nicolas were stacking 8 in the box forcing LSU to pass this is why you have LSU low rushing yards but saw them take advantage in the passing game

Well harbor played defense in high school, SC was just trying to utilize his Olympic speed for offense. He just hasn’t gotten the route running and ball catching down like they’d hope, if you ask me, he’s most comfortable and effective on defense. Will be exciting to see

What non-south Carolina fans don't know is we will always find a way to win when we aren't supposed to. But God forgive you if you make us favorites.
Harbor isn’t playing defense.
It's really very simple. If Sellars has a good game, SC will win. If he struggles again, LSU will win. The USC defense is very good, but it can't do everything. Time for that young man to step up and yolk the weight of the position he plays.
The rain is going to change things such as the pass game and turn overs. Who ever can run the ball better may win this one.

DOn't know what Chris is talking about, when he says LSU's offense last season is somehow a reason to think they will play better this season. LSU CAN NOT RUN THE BALL!!!!!! What is USC's defenses strength, PASS DEFENSE. So South Carolina is going to want LSU to pass the ball, because that allows them to come after Nuss and make him feel very much like Vandergriff did last week. South Carolina will run the ball on LSU and will win this game.
My point was, that why LSU isn't going to be as good offensively as it was last year (lost Heisman winner and two first-round wide receivers) there are still some pieces here (two first-round tackles and a pretty good QB in Nussmeier and Lacy) and a history of having good offenses. Not too high on South Carolina, but as a fan, they have improved (with much more improvement needed) on offense. If they can keep trending in the positive direction on offense they can keep this close. This will be the best test so far, Kentucky never got anything going so I can’t rely on the game for stats. Is our defense really that good? Only time will tell. I hope Finbaum picks lsu by a mile. Gamecocks always thrive as the underdogs for some reason. My biggest question is how will we fare in the fourth quarter.. lsu can move the ball when needed late in the game. South Carolina hasn’t been known to do that well late in games. IF they do pull it off and win maybe it can be the turning of the page into a new outlook on the program as a whole and for the future.

LSU has NO RB's!!! They will NOT run the ball on USC. They are a one dimensional offense, and the Gamecocks are best against the pass, but have also stopped the run when needed. You will learn soon, that life in Willy B is no place to be if you can't run the football, and LSU can not run the football. The Gamecocks WILL be able to run the ball on that suspect LSU defense. Sellers and his wr's WILL be able to take advantage of LSU's suspect db's. UK has a MUCH better D. And we found a way to get 31 points against them.
