@@KazeKoichi funny because it would have made sense, there are two Zargothrax in the story of the album, there have been two guys playing Zargothrax in the history of Gloryhammer and there would have been two Zargothrax on stage.

It's wild how much Sozos has improved live. He's really fucking good. I figured it would probably take longer for him to learn Stage Presence.
Trial by fire.
The goofy stage presence was my initial concern, and you could tell in earlier videos it just wasn't there, but he's getting it. Thomas really seemed to enjoy it and just dial it up to 11, as we've certainly seen. I like both. :>
Well it was a tough spot at first. First of all, the breakup was a bad one and he knew he had to impress. Second, Gloryhammer is still a "gimmick" band, they play characters and the character of Angus McFife was tailored on a very different person, both in the looks and personality. He would obviously look weird because it's hard to look less like the previous guy and hard to be as over the top as he was. And of course, 3 albums of songs tailored on a different voice. Sozos Is very good, but I've seen Thomas himself struggle on songs made for him. Not a dig on Thomas, I don't pick sides, seems weird tribalistic stuff. But now Sozos had time to adapt AND he has a full album of songs and brand new stories created for his own voice and "Angus". Probably he's the first one to finally really feel like Angus and It shows. The confidence is allining with the talent and the performances reflect It.
Saw them last week live. Sozos did so much better than last year (about the same time) - not that he was bad, he just improved. I noticed less hairflipping and a louder voice. I´d love to see his journey regularly.

The new singer is going to be just fine I have his album and he can reach them notes I also have some of his other albums in his other bands he's a great addition to gloryhammer

@Jeroen Oh. I wasn't aware. When i looked up the set list to figure out the song name, the site said premiere.
@@K0nstantlyTragic It premiered in Chicago but man the sound teching is built different in the Palladium and they made do with a melodica in Chicago. If you also got the opening number, you've got a new Sozos embellishment on your hands btw.

I got excited that someone put a wind solo in a metal song but it appears to just be a pre-recorded sample. His fingers completely look wrong to what you hear (I've been playing clarinet for 20+ years and have some saxophone experience). Still a catchy song like always from Gloryhammer. In the MV they had a tenor sax body with a alto sax neck taped on it but it looks like he has a complete alto sax for this performance. Still waiting for that day my being a band geek and metal head can join as one for real 😆
