Central Bureau of Investigation also known as CBI is one of the best investigation agency of India. It investigates complex, High Profile and intricate cases generally referred by the state investigative agencies or governments or various courts whenever there is improper investigation or which are not being investigated properly by other agencies or whenever any honourable court deems fit to transfer the case to CBI.
To become a CBI Officer is an achievement. But the task of SI in CBI or any CBI Officer is not easy. To become a SI or Officer in Central Bureau of Investigation one has to undergo a selection process of written and/or Oral exams followed by physical and medical conducted by Staff Selection Commission so that only the best can join CBI.
1. Educational Qualification: To be eligible to become a CBI officer one must be a graduate i.e. one must have a Bachelor in any stream.
2. Age Limit for CBI : The candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained 27 years of age. The upper age limit will be relaxed for OBC and SC/ST candidates.
3. Physical Requirements are generally same for male and female candidates, detailed in the video.

सर मैंने बचपन से सोच रखा था कि Si , CBI , जैसी हि जॉब में काम करुगा लेकिन एक एक्सिडेंट में मेरा हाथ फेक्चर हों गया और मेरे हाथ में रोड डालीं गई उससे में एक दम टुट गया और मेरे बचपन से जो Si CBI में जाने का सपना था वो टुटता हुआ नज़र आया आज इस बात को 2 साल हो चुके हैं और मैंने अभी थोड़े दिन पहले आप का एक विडियो देखा उस से मेरे मन में cbi , si की जॉब में काम करने की जिज्ञासा बढ़ी

Do we get to choose between these so many divisions ? That which one do we need to go into as per our interest ?
No. When you appear for the SSC CGL exam, you can choose which organization you want to serve, Income Tax / Central Excise / Customs / CBI / Enforcement Directorate, etc. Depending on your merit, you may or may not be allotted your choice organization. If you are selected for CBI, after training at their academy in Ghaziabad, you will be given a posting in any of its branches across the nation. Generally, you would get a transfer in 3 yo 5 years to any other branch either in the same city or other cities. The good thing about CBI is that it is generally located in the capital cities of almost every state. So you don't end up in any village. In small states, they have only one branch which handles all kinds of cases. But in larger cities, you have a different branch. Eg. in Mumbai you have Anti Corruption Branch (ACB), Economic Offences Wing (EOW), BS&FC (Bank Securities and Fraud Cell), Special Task Force (STF), Special Crime Branch (SCB) etc. You cannot choose the branch where you will be transferred. The transfer order comes from its Establishment Section of Head Office in New Delhi
