It's so nice to see how far bunny has come since Julien and Jenna adopted her. She used to be so timid and now she's body slamming other dogs to run and see her dad.
When I saw Bunny *bodied* that other greyhound, I laughed for a good 10 minutes having that video in repeat. 😂😂😂😂😂 Thanks Bunny for making my rough day be a little better.
Also I've never heard of vets not recommending brushing teeth (not sure if this is another greyhound specific thing) but it reduces plaque build up and I did it daily with a service dog I raised and never had a problem. Looking forward to seeing Bunny. I’m so early.Edit: All of the greyhounds looked so happy. Great to see. Bunny has become her own dog. I’m is beautiful to see. Thank you. May you please take care and stay safe.
The feeling you get when you realize that your pet loves you unconditionally and just wants to be with you after you built a relationship with them? It's such an overwhelming feeling, and I love that Bunny has that with Julen.
Hey there, I foster racing greyhounds in Florida. All of the Florida dogs have been adopted out already. We are now getting some dogs from the track in Arkansas, but they will be few and far between. If you're interested in adopting a greyhound, get on a list now! You're probably in for a long wait. You may have better luck reaching out to someone directly involved with racing and asking them what your best options are.
Hey everyone veterinary student here! Greyhounds can go under general anesthesia, there are certain drugs that your vet will avoid that greyhounds are more sensitive to but there are plenty of safe anesthetics a greyhound can get ☺️ any professional teeth cleanings should be done by a vet under anesthesia! There’s a lot of bacteria in plaque and tartar that you don’t want your dogs to ingest and there’s also a greater risk for aspiration pneumonia when teeth cleaning is not done under general anesthesia. Not to mention you need special tools to clean under the gum line and the parts of teeth you can’t see. And you can still brush their teeth at home just like any other dog and it’s recommended to do daily for all dogs! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE talk to a vet about these procedures and not a trainer, breeder, rescuer, etc. because vets go through a lot of schooling and training to care for your animals
Layla Jackson but they LIKE to race and it's a different environment than just running. it's like taking your dog to the park for a run vs a flyball competition, it's different energy and focus. idk why people are so dead set on killing a sport that greyhounds love
@@inbuttsmeeting the thing is, greyhounds go through a lot. Females get put on testosterone because they don't want their dogs to go into heat.
