How to make popcorn at home with a pot

Healthy homemade popcorn on a stovetop.
Ingredients:
-Popcorn kernels
-Salted butter
- Sugar (you can substitute this with honey).

It's a non-stick pot and it works the same as a metal pot as long as it has a fitting lid, it will work

No, you don't have to soak it. You need it dry for it to pop

Popcorn kernel is quite common. I think any supermarket should have it. I bought some a few days at a bakery store for N200 per cup in Akure ondo state

You have to let the oil get heated first before adding the kernels, that way the kernel will will pop up in time without staying too long in the oil

I mostly use milk, but you can add powdered banana, vanilla flavor or cinnamon powder after it has finished popping and toast to mix well

So sorry about your experience dearie.
First of all, set the heat on medium, make sure the oil is piping hot first but not smoky before adding the kennels.
Secondly, shake the pot a couple of times just before the corn starts to pop so they don't stick together or burn.
