I know what you're talking about. I am the only believing and practicing Catholic in my peer group. All my buddies from school and university and even from the parish of my childhood where I grew up in the catholic faith have left the church or are at best lukewarm catholics who attend mass 2 times a year, at Christmas and Easter. All my friends at the moment are non believing. This is very hard for me. I often pray for findig catholic friends, because it is hard to stick to the narrow path, when you are surrounded by people who just live by the values of modern society...Thanks for the video! It’s hard I know, but usually they have Catholic community centre , where it’s just normally a hang out with everything to do with fitness to even pools and even dining areas and events area where so many’s are held every year. You should see if there’s one near you. Sometimes they’re even looking for people to work there. Its a place you could meet so really good Catholic friends. But it could be a bit far from you maybe. I live Australia and they only have 3 big Catholic community centres in my city but they’re big though, they could hold up to 1000 s of people in 1 night. But it just depends if you have any near you. Some are though but it doesn’t matter about that as long as you can meet some good people, hope this helps.Godbless

As a non believer, I appreciate and respect your efforts for fighting secular and hyper sexualized world in which all we can observe on tv series, video games or screens is signs of sexualizing human beings but especially women. I know from myself that preventing oneself from all kinds of bad addictions is rough. I think women are getting easier falling into a sexualizing trap compared to men. It’s both funny and sad how some women prefer to see sexualizing as an empowering tool for themselves in today’s world.
Catholic moral law is based upon natural law. We have a free willed rational nature and are called to respect the rights of others .... starting from life itself... and have duties to respectfully love our neighbors. I am so grateful that my parents exposed me to Catholicism which I only came to understand later in life. She is beauty itself.. like her founder. Christ.
Recently my sister decided not to stay in touch with me because of me being pro-life. This hit me very hard. We've barely spoken to each other (even though I've tried to open up for communication) for coming up on two months. We used to talk almost every day before. Since she sort of 'shut down' our relationship, I've tried praying for her every day, but it's still hard to find the strength to do so. Please pray for our relationship, and her conversion to our Lord Christ

When people pull the "you've been brainwashed" card I know they don't have anything to offer discussion wise. Same thing with "you're forcing your religion on me" card. These are often bandied accusations that has little to no basis, and are merely used out of convenience. They're the same accusations thrown at any Christian who holds socially conservative views. It's what what I liked to call JV Secular formations.
What would be the right way to respond when people accuse you of forcing your religion on them? I've had that happen a few times, where all I did was associate Christmas to Jesus.

Bible in year podcast was a godsend and gave me such a great insight into out religion, more so than ever before. I have 2 unbaptised teenagers, I do not know how to bring them to faith. I never fully left the Catholic faith that I was raised but, I came back to it in a strong way about a year ago. I have been reexamining my views on modesty and clothing. I am also a fashion major so in some ways with the trends of today this is hard. What is your views on modesty in regards to swim wear and workout clothes? This is the area I struggle the most. I love a good midi skirt all day long for causal wear.
If only there were more catholic friendly clothing lines and stores... I wish more fashion designers and stores would address the need for modest clothing....most people rely on thrift stores or have to adjust low necklines by wearing tanktops beneath the top...

One of the question was how she/he can evangelize online. And that used to be my problem too. My mom said "just ignore the hate/protestants comments or best, not to read the comments just keep evangelizing without looking back" the best advice from my mom. But sometimes it can get difficult because you want to read what others say about you but it's best to look forward and ignore. It's up to them wether they take the seed and let it die out or take the seed and let it grow, you just keep planting as many seeds as possible.

I’m 16 and honestly I spent the whole of secondary school 11-16 being told I was wrong for pointing people to the scripture or just existing to the point I wanted to move to a catholic school about a mile away from the school I was attending. I lost friends because of my faith and I made friends with fellow Christian’s who later then told me I was weird for being catholic.
I’m thankful for your videos. I was raised in a Christian organization. God met me and began transforming my life within this year, I have since been to a few churches where Christ is (various denominations) and I pray as Jesus does in John 17 that His followers would be unified again.

I just have a comment regarding the first question here: I think it’s important for you to address that the immodesty of another cannot ‘cause’ us to sin. We still have free will and we know about the pressures of the secular world (as you point out in the beginning of this video), but we must be careful not to use those pressures as excuses. You even allude this being ridiculous in another of your videos about veiling (we don’t veil to keep the men in our parish from being distracted; we veil out of respect for Jesus). I do love that you advise that we ‘pray for them’. Thanks for all that you do for our beautiful faith! You are helping a new generation see the truth. 🙏🏾❤️✝️
Please pray for me that, as a "reconvert" especially, that I will "stand my ground" as you stated, and to not care about people's opinions and condemnations of me, and that the faith I originally converted to a couple of times before I will never again leave it. Great post. I admire your tenacity, as I've read some hate comments. One tool for evangelizing is the knowledge that in the end only a very few will be saved. Many of the great saints of the church have said this along with Jesus himself. This knowledge will give you resolve & emphasize the need to choose your battles wisely. Everyone should read St. Leonard of Port Maurice, who gave an amazing sermon on this subject, which put the fear of God in me. I've recently come back to Catholicism, and while I'm not yet a good Catholic, I'm under no delusion on how I need to repent and lean on God's grace. God bless and keep preaching sister!!!

Always keep in mind that people are capable of remembering. You are never just talking to that person, you are talking to everyone that person will ever be. Chances are at some point in their lives, they will be open to what you are saying, and they can remember it.
May I ask a question. How do I react when a friend just tells a bad joke? I don't want to offend their feelings, so it's hard for me to choose whether I should smile, laugh or remain silent. It's difficult to live as a lay man as in my work it's inevitable to be with people who are unfaithful, know nothing of morals and secularized. Do I have to rebuke them all the time or just let their way of thinking?

Our free wills and our mind's ability to work with non physical things like numbers and logic show we are not essentially just physical, but that the physical is to be disciplined by our free willed reasoning nature. This is a higher order than the simply animalistic.
"What is the difference between a battle and a conversation?" (A thought has been rolling around in my head on this subject, let me know what you think) In a battle, people deploy statements (which probably aren't from their personal experience, aren't particularly specific, aren't necessarily applicable, and may not even be true), for the effect that those statements will have on the people listening. It's like a formula, or a spell or something. In a conversation, people will say what they're thinking, based on their own experiences, without any regard to the outcome. Now, you need to be careful, because a clever deployer-of-phrases can twist someone around to falsehood by mischaracterizing your thoughts, or emphasizing a less important aspect of what you say. Still, in an actual conversation, both sides are pouring out the contents of their minds on a table, for everyone involved to sort through to try to weigh the truth of what is said.

I'm both black (immigrant) and Catholic, and people, especially at my Public Middle School, are exasperating. People have told me that I'm "white washed" for not supporting BLM or dressing in such a way that I don't have my cleavage on full display, and I don't support LGBTQIA+. I'll be okay though. I'd just like some likeminded friends. But I'm not scared of people. I have my God with me, so who can be against me :)
I would have expected "Cafeteria Catholics" or poorly catechized Catholics to be on your list. I think this is by far our biggest issue with society b/c a divided Church (b/c the majority don't actually know the faith) is a weak Church. This is also the one issue we have some control over. It is surprising how many "catholics" not only don't own a catechism but don't know what it is.

Thank you for mentioning men without shirts when you were discussing modesty. When I was growing up, and I am older, men always had on a T-shirt. If that was all they had on, it was a true T-shirt, not a tank top. Wandering eyes are easier for some to control than others. if we are truly triggered by something that we see and tempted, we have a responsibility to remove ourselves from that situation if at all possible. I know it’s not always possible, and sometimes it means that we walk away from people that we truly care about,but is your salvation worth more than staying in the situation if you can leave?

If they smoke you might start smoking if they use street drugs So you become the way your friends are if you hang around them . I would like some advice. I have extremely bad anxiety to the point where I lose my monthly cycle from stress. I have panic attacks daily. I'm new to catholicism and I don't want kids because any form of pain or sickness makes me physically shake from panic attacks. I'm also new to the idea of natural family planning. Because of my situation am I called to just not get married to risk a pregnancy? I've done some research on videos by preists about this, but they don't mention people in my situation. I take birthcontrol for mental health reasons. Can I have some advise from life long catholics? My feelings won't be hurt, I promise. I just want to live out God's will. Thank you!
I comprehend what you mean with "dead end" questions as I know this kind of pointless argues with my parents too well. When we try to avoid products made in certain countries, we don´t hate the people of those countries but the respective governments (dictatorships). The management of multinational companies "jump" on every opinion "hype train" that comes along: If Christianity were in favour of the current "Zeitgeist", they would surely promote it in every way. I grew up in the 90´s, shortly before Internet really took off in my country - there were some rules at school we knew well we had to follow. Supervision was very easy compared to nowadays ; teachers "on duty" monitored floors and bathrooms, it was a few years before the first mobile phones appeared. There was no extreme violence and no porn. Like school, college was more a community of fate, random people who were born of a certain age being "drafted". Especially during the last year before graduating and during the master´s studies I just coped with people I would not have wanted to hang out with in private life. Mentioning Christianity would have been suicide, the only unofficially allowed religion was scientism. However, there were some Pakistani women who were veiled from head to toe and nobody was allowed to say anything. Feminism per se isn´t bad, but decades after its beginning, it should be primarily geared towards The Middle East and Africa, where it is badly needed. Excessive feminism in societies that are more or less equal only fosters odd male movements that are not only bad from a Christian point of view (for example , MGTOW, etc.), but also undermine the secular society. There's Taize prayer and they have conferences etc. You could find friends there. Taize prayer AFAIK is Catholic you can find them on UA-cam

We still have free will and we know about the pressures of the secular world (as you point out in the beginning of this video), but we must be careful not to use those pressures as excuses. You even allude this being ridiculous in another of your videos about veiling (we don’t veil to keep the men in our parish from being distracted; we veil out of respect for Jesus). I do love that you advise that we ‘pray for them’.

Great post. I admire your tenacity, as I've read some hate comments. One tool for evangelizing is the knowledge that in the end only a very few will be saved. Many of the great saints of the church have said this along with Jesus himself. This knowledge will give you resolve & emphasize the need to choose your battles wisely. Everyone should read St. Leonard of Port Maurice, who gave an amazing sermon on this subject, which put the fear of God in me. I've recently come back to Catholicism, and while I'm not yet a good Catholic, I'm under no delusion on how I need to repent and lean on God's grace. God bless and keep preaching sister!!!

Always keep in mind that people are capable of remembering. You are never just talking to that person, you are talking to everyone that person will ever be. Chances are at some point in their lives, they will be open to what you are saying, and they can remember it.

May I ask a question. How do I react when a friend just tells a bad joke? I don't want to offend their feelings, so it's hard for me to choose whether I should smile, laugh or remain silent. It's difficult to live as a lay man as in my work it's inevitable to be with people who are unfaithful, know nothing of morals and secularized. Do I have to rebuke them all the time or just let their way of thinking?

In a battle, people deploy statements (which probably aren't from their personal experience, aren't particularly specific, aren't necessarily applicable, and may not even be true), for the effect that those statements will have on the people listening. It's like a formula, or a spell or something.
In a conversation, people will say what they're thinking, based on their own experiences, without any regard to the outcome. Now, you need to be careful, because a clever deployer-of-phrases can twist someone around to falsehood by mischaracterizing your thoughts, or emphasizing a less important aspect of what you say. Still, in an actual conversation, both sides are pouring out the contents of their minds on a table, for everyone involved to sort through to try to weigh the truth of what is said.

I'm both black (immigrant) and Catholic, and people, especially at my Public Middle School, are exasperating. People have told me that I'm "white washed" for not supporting BLM or dressing in such a way that I don't have my cleavage on full display, and I don't support LGBTQIA+. I'll be okay though. I'd just like some likeminded friends.

I would have expected "Cafeteria Catholics" or poorly catechized Catholics to be on your list. I think this is by far our biggest issue with society b/c a divided Church (b/c the majority don't actually know the faith) is a weak Church. This is also the one issue we have some control over. It is surprising how many "catholics" not only don't own a catechism but don't know what it is.

Thank you for mentioning men without shirts when you were discussing modesty. When I was growing up, and I am older, men always had on a T-shirt. If that was all they had on, it was a true T-shirt, not a tank top. Wandering eyes are easier for some to control than others. if we are truly triggered by something that we see and tempted, we have a responsibility to remove ourselves from that situation if at all possible. I know it’s not always possible, and sometimes it means that we walk away from people that we truly care about,but is your salvation worth more than staying in the situation if you can leave?

I would like some advice. I have extremely bad anxiety to the point where I lose my monthly cycle from stress. I have panic attacks daily. I'm new to catholicism and I don't want kids because any form of pain or sickness makes me physically shake from panic attacks. I'm also new to the idea of natural family planning. Because of my situation am I called to just not get married to risk a pregnancy? I've done some research on videos by preists about this, but they don't mention people in my situation. I take birthcontrol for mental health reasons. Can I have some advise from life long catholics? My feelings won't be hurt, I promise. I just want to live out God's will. Thank you!
I comprehend what you mean with "dead end" questions as I know this kind of pointless argues with my parents too well. When we try to avoid products made in certain countries, we don´t hate the people of those countries but the respective governments (dictatorships). The management of multinational companies "jump" on every opinion "hype train" that comes along: If Christianity were in favour of the current "Zeitgeist", they would surely promote it in every way. I grew up in the 90´s, shortly before Internet really took off in my country - there were some rules at school we knew well we had to follow. Supervision was very easy compared to nowadays ; teachers "on duty" monitored floors and bathrooms, it was a few years before the first mobile phones appeared. There was no extreme violence and no porn. Like school, college was more a community of fate, random people who were born of a certain age being "drafted". Especially during the last year before graduating and during the master´s studies I just coped with people I would not have wanted to hang out with in private life. Mentioning Christianity would have been suicide, the only unofficially allowed religion was scientism. However, there were some Pakistani women who were veiled from head to toe and nobody was allowed to say anything. Feminism per se isn´t bad, but decades after its beginning, it should be primarily geared towards The Middle East and Africa, where it is badly needed. Excessive feminism in societies that are more or less equal only fosters odd male movements that are not only bad from a Christian point of view (for example , MGTOW, etc.), but also undermine the secular society.
