As a community, they've stopped buying the BS and have started seeing the truth. 100 years of democratic policy has continued to hold back the black community and that the Republican party was founded to help the black community gain equality in voting, economically, socially and every facet of life. I was for Ben Carson in 2016 before Trump took him out. Still have my Carson donation card. He would be a fine choice for VP. My first choice is Tulsi Gabard. I think she insures a landslide. Vivek or Donalds also are a great choice. The three that are being talked up I hope are just a head fake.

I'm predicting Ben Carson will be the VP pick. I just looked into it, and he is from an important swing state in Michigan. Usually, the VP pick is someone who comes from a certain demographic they try to reach from an important region when considering the electoral college.
I doubt black people in Detroit even know who Ben Carson is 😂
Trump also said a while back that it would be someone who has been with him from the beginning. Ben was in his first administration and they're close now.
I would be thrilled for either Ben, Vivek, or Byron to be VP.

As a black male.. which I hate calling myself that.. we need this as a community.. we need conversation between community.. we need to build some kind of Branch or bridge between us that unites us.. and our decision on our future as a community.. I love this.. a mixture of different Brothers coming together put the common goal.. now we need a nationwide convention for the African-American community to engage in dialogue.. keep it up.. so if we don't it'll fall on deaf ears

I wish i was there so I could ask questions about real issues important to the Black American community. Been supporting Trump but loosing faith.
Losing faith in Trump? Ask yourself if you think you are being treated well under JB? Are you better off? Is JB just pandering to you for your vote or treating you as an equal? I don’t have the $ Trump has but he has proven by his previous administration he understood what I have to deal with as a middle class citizen. For JB to say ‘you ain’t black if you don’t vote for him’ is the slave master telling his slaves what they have to do. JB panders, Trump does what he promises and treats people well.

I struggle w/ this too, but I find those who claim to be Christians and still support them either aren’t steadfast in their faith, ignorant, in denial, or scared to challenge what they’ve been told/taught. Also, a lot of them still run w/ this false narrative that Democrats are for the poor and middle-class ppl while Republicans are for the rich and upper class ppl.
