Yooooo, so, I follow your channel too. And did you do a tutorial on how to build techno beats using the tr8s? If so, I was so excited the day I finally got mine, I went to your channel, and then I couldn't find the video. It would've been made about 2.5 years ago. I searched a bunch of channels... couldn't find it.

man, maybe I should have gotten the Mc 707 instead of the TR-8s. it seems like this machine does a lot more .
I got the 707 first, but I still bought a tr8s later. Honestly, I'll never sell either, even though I have multiple machines (a lot) that do drums, and the tr8s isn't even my only dedicated drum machine. Point is, the tr8s is super kick ass, I wouldn't regret buying it. Do you have other gear that can do synth parts? Or is the tr8s your only live gear? Because if you have even one device that can do synths, boom... you can make some rad shit. Also, check out Roland's video series they made with famous people making tracks with just the tr8s. It can do a lot. End rant.

@AlexFainDj Oops, that question was meant for the person who said they should've bought the 707 instead of the tr8s. Just giving them encouragement that the tr8s also kicks ass. I subbed from this though! Banging stuff, so impressed it's all only one bar....

Also, I've read the 707 cam be used as a mixer, is this true? I have a circuit and bass station 2, could they both be run through this at the same time without needing to buy a mixer?

Yes you get 4 mono input or 2 stereo. You can use mc707 as a Looper too.

Been hearing the looper thing but no idea what it is, will investigate. I do hVe a couple of newer thing, but not really done anything since back in the day with am Atari 1040st and keyboards that weighed 20kg each 😁😁

Hey i am right you load your 8 mixer tracks with samples you want to use? And how many samples can you load into 1 track ? I want exactily the same Features as in you Video here. I used ableton with an midi controller and 8 tracks and load the samples to each tracks to play "on the flow" but want to Do this without a Laptop in future
You can load up to 16 samples each track. But you can’t play for example 128 samples simultanely because the polyphony is limited to 64 I think. By the way you can play lots elements , enought for make a track every line.

Super Live set. I bought your samples pack but when I load them into the looper their tempos are doubled which makes them turn 2x slower. Do you have an idea of the problem please.
If you mean sample loop pack 8 step, the loops are 8 step long not 16, you need to upload in the drum tracks and set 140 bpm, put the loop in the step n1 and 9 , don’t use looper track.

@@AlexFainDj Why did you do this by not using the Looper?
To have a multitude of samples available on a single track?
The first reason is because the Looper memory doesn't allow you to put many loops and you get the memory full message.Second reason the Looper does not always remain perfectly synchronized
