We are using multiple Gopro Suction Cups for mounting in- and outside of the glider, we also use duct tape to make sure it doesn't actually fall of. That proved usefull because after one of our filmed low-passes the gopro was just ''hanging'' on the tape.
Really cheap? Less than 1000€. Ok that buys you a Ka8 surplus trainer. But airworthy. Old club class like Astir, ASW 15, ASW 19, DG 100, LS1... between 8000 and 25000 depending on model, technical and optical status, repair and crash history, and equipment, and instrumentation, and not the least type of trailer which you always need.
