+SharpStudios0 I actually did lose signal for about 7 seconds when the drone was on the other side at the top. I just edited around that little inconsistency.
( I tried to get a bustier that matched my eyes, but the hospital had a very poor selection.)
Those puns are enough to break a STRONG back...! STILL Waiting for some GOOD ones...! :)

This is some awesome footage. I'm a newbie ....and have been studying about Air Space and limitations on flying. Isn't this close to an airport? If you stay under the buildings is it ok? I know...a boring question. Anyway... glad your home...is your dog back home too?
I've been watching Ken's video's since last May when I became addicted. (to drones and Ken lol) Ken is straight, he flies within the FAA guidelines. He's talked about it in some of is vids. It's actually ok to fly within 5 miles of an airport as long as you contact the tower with the time, altitude and how long you'll be flying. They will let you know if you can or can't. Good questions though, they are the same ones I had.
Thunderbyrd But flying in a populated urban environment is ok? I thought it was illegal to do so in any city. I live in NYC and when I get a drone I expect to have to travel somewhere outside the city to fly it. Nice footage though

Ken, what are the rules for flying over roads/streets? In another of your viddies you avoided going over a bridge, for safety reasons (5 rookie mistakes to avoid). I haven't taken the 107 yet, and it seems like the rules for flying over people or vehicles is a bit nebulous. Thanks!

Great video, I was watching your live broadcast when you were filming it. I live just on the other side of the Walt Whitman bridge in NJ. Good luck with your recovery, I know you have a long road ahead of you. What do you expect to see from DJI on Tuesday, a Mavic Air is the buzz on the rumor mill.

Cool! It's a great city to fly. I tried flying over Billy Penn, but the prison near there is a no-fly zone.
(I even had a homeless dude spotting for me!)

Ken....Nice video! I have a question. How were you able to fly in the city of Philadelphia? I know you have a part 107 certificate but did you have to get clearance for this flight? Or were you just able to go right out there and start filming?
Luckily, that part of Philadelphia was far enough away from the airport and any off-limits airspace.
Great to see your doing well and you certainly have the right attitude. Awesome footage from Philly. Actually my home area although I am in the southern suburbs. Retired three years ago after 41 years as a freight railroad conductor. As you mentioned 30th St. station. This was my home base for many years. It certainly is amazing how much the Philly skyline has changed over the years. In a closing statement......."Go Eagles". Ken, stay very well on the healing track, also happy flying.

Hey Ken curious to know did you have to request permission from the phl airport to take off from the garage? My map is saying an airport is near but it’s actually 8 miles away from that garage. I’m always looking for places in Philly to fly at thanks in advance.
+Wraith215 No I didn't need to check with the airport for that location. Download an app called air map. It is a very good thing to have when flying drones.
