Fluid painting is an incredible world to explore! No acrylic pouring is the same as another and the creativity that, with the multitude of techniques that exist (and many variations still have to be experimented), this incredible pictorial technique manages to make us express is something indescribable.

Ciao Veronica,mi sono avvicinato da poco alla fluid art è in particolare alla flip Cup, uso come medium fluitex e colla vinilica con due gocce di silicone, per quanto riguarda gli acrilici uso quelli un pò economici. i primi due quadri non sono riuscito a creare bene le celle ,il terzo quadro finalmente sono riuscito a creare delle belle celle e dei bei colori molto vivaci,solo che nell' asciugarsi i colori da vivaci diventano scuri e opachi,e non riesco a capire perché.Per favore mi potresti dare una spiegazione, te ne sarei molto grato,ti seguo sempre su You tube e sei grande.Ciao
Ciao Daniele, ti ringrazio per i complimenti! Non conosco il medium della fluitex ma dubito sia lui la causa. I colori tendenzialmente si asciugano un po' più scuri ma se la differenza è tanta potrebbe essere causa proprio della scarsa qualità del prodotto. Di solito bisogna tenere in considerazione anche il quadratino che indica il finish dell'acrilico, quindi se asciuga opaco, semi trasparente o trasparente. Se sovrapponi un colore trasparente ad uno opaco ovviamente quello sotto si vedrà

I'm attempting to get my pearl pours happening and in searching for reliable recipes and techniques using products that are available to us here - I came across your videos.
I especially love the colours and special effects paint you use!
(Yay for Decoart metallics and the pretty folkart colour shift range.
I'm fairly sure I've seen you use these in other pours unless I'm mistaken.)

For a good pearl pour you don't need too many products... just a satin enamel, a good acrylic and a good pm... if you have a satin enamel (also not Decoart) a white acrylic like Winsor & Newton or Pebeo (opaque) and Liquitex pm you can obtain super pearls! Then you can adjust your recipe by adding floetrol to get different pearls! I'm so glad that my videos have helped you 🤗🥰

Ciao Veronica, è il primo medium che ho acquistato approcciandomi alla fluid art pensando vista la marca che fosse un buon prodotto e come te sono rimasta molto delusa. Ora uso floetrol con un pò di fiss'up. Una domanda : raccolgo come da tuo suggerimento i residui delle colate qnd mix di vari colori metallici e non ma non capisco come li posso riutilizzare, come base ? O inserendo con altri colori nelle flp cup ? Davvero tanti complimenti per le tue opere e per come sai spiegare benissimo le tecniche nei tutorial. Grazie per tutti i consigli preziosi 👍🏻😍

Purtroppo confermo quello chd hai detto...questo medium è una delusione e non lo consiglio! I colori raccolti li usare come vuoi... se il colore ti piace anche in una nuova colata ad esempio ring pour ecc... ricorda solo di usare il colore con silicone in tecniche in cui ci va e non come flow extender! 😊

This is a brand of paint and medium that is easily available and a lot cheaper where I live compared to other brands. I don’t use the pouring medium but I use the paints especially because I’m still a beginner.
Hi Sandy! You need a pouring medium to give to the paint the characteristics that it need for a good pour, like a good consistency, to make it runny and to binda the pigments for example. This medium in my opinion is not the best and isn't good for all techniques! To me the best one is Liquitex!
@@VeronicaVanSaftenART yes, I use a pouring medium, just not from Mont marte. I have it but it reacts weird. 😅 Have you tried the MM paints with other PMs?

Peccato perché i colori sono molto belli, probabilmente fa a pugni con quel silicone. Infatti nel primo test questi problemi non sono emersi. Ritorniamo ai vecchi medium. Comunque grazie per la condivisione.

A me succede credo troppo denso...che si fa?
Per la flip cup si può usare anche una consistenza molto densa, le crepe però non dovrebbero comparire in ogni caso! Di solito succede quando rimane troppo colore sulla tela, quando si asciuga in jn ambiente non adatto (temperatura/umidità) o quando di usa un colore vecchio... qua invece credo proprio che la causa sia il medium...indagherei oltre ma per questo prodotto non ritengo nd valga la pena
Bisogna prima mettere una base per una maggiore fluidità...i colori messi sono eccessivi per il quadretto così piccolo .. e in piu probabilmente hai messo troppo silicone ....secondo me basta sistemare le proporzioni
Ciao Luana! In realtà non è necessaria una base, per avere maggiore scorrevolezza basta aggiungerci un po' di flow extender attorno... e comunque ho fatto scendere dalla tela abbastanza colore da garantire (normalmente) una corretta asciugatura. Questo era un test del prodotto e questo tipo di asciugatura non mi è mai capitata con altri. Nemmeno il silicone è stato il problema (le dosi sono corrette: io uso una goccia ogni 50/60 ml di colore circa)... io credo piuttosto che questo medium non lavori bene! Di sicuro a parità di costo al litro con altri additivi direi che non ne vale la pena. Questa è la mia opinione! 😊 Tu usi questo medium? Ti trovi bene?
Esperimento interessante....effettivamente, posso dirti che il mio miscuglio di colla, acqua e una goccina di silicone, funziona decisamente meglio.
Sono d'accordo con te 😊 con il silicone io rimango su fiss'up o colla come medium!
Ciao carissima , guardando da lontano sembra bello pero da vicino , i colori dentro celle non sono chiari.. Secondo me non ne vale le pena. Preferisco di usare il glue o un medium ordinario meno costoso.
