I fixed a car radiator with milliput
in the 1990's I was a poor student with a shed of a car , the car had a metal guard covering the radiator and it broke off and slid between the engine and radiator slicing the radiator with a 5 inch slice. water was pouring out so no way could I drive it
I took it to the garage and they said it needs a new radiator and the price for the replacement was a lot over £200 in 1990's
I was skint and had no idea what to do and I remember that milliput was good with water
so I checked the packet and it appears to be ok(and I had no other choice) so I got the entire packet and made a massive lump of it and slapped it on my car radiator spreading it out and covering the hole
ran the car for about 10-15 mins to make sure it was warm and also it was not leaking then re-squashed it back down and then left it overnight the stuff set like a stone
for the next few months id check it everyday , but over the months and years it just held position
had that car for another 5 years and that milliput fix was still working even when I took my car to the scrap yard on its final day

I´ve had the materials (Oyumaru and milliput) sitting in a drawer for over a decade, never used them. Even though I´m starting to 3dprint now, with acceptable results, your video made me decide to try cloning Adeptus Titanicus parts. Thank you!

@@ShowerOnceYearly I have some 9th edition marines, but I don’t play 40k since it’s a mess. I do play AoS, but by the end of third that game became a mess as well. So to call me a shill is a little strange. I suggest all of you get out and play more games. There is better stuff out there.

I believe the top part of the mould has better detail because you've squished the blue stuff in all around the master.
Have you tried removing the bottom part of the mould and redoing it? That way you could probably get the same level of detail on both halves.
    Thanks for the video 👍🏼

also putting the mold half to set in a freezer to harden up even more, so less likely to warp slightly after taking the piece you molded out for casting.

    Great video!
I might have missed it, but is there a reason you take the bits out of the mold after 4 hours instead of letting them cure in the mold over night? Is it harder to get them out when they are fully cured?

if you can build some sort of hard container with wood or some other hard material, you can probably get better quality from these under pressure from a bench vice or something.
