So is it that you make 50 chains and then chain an extra 4. Then make a double crochet in the 5th chain from the hook. Make two more double crochets in the next two stiches an then skip a stich and make three double crochets in the next three stiches and then proceed along the foundation chain using that same pattern? 5:22

I didn't know how to do this so now I have worked it out I'm putting it here in case it helps. I'm on the desktop version, I hover the mouse pointer over the bottom of the video and up comes the little play, settings etc menu. There is a white rectangle with what looks like dot, dash, on next line dash dot, click on this to view subtitles/cc. In Settings, the cog, go to Translate and auto translate into your language by selecting, for me I clicked on English. When I press play the subtitles show in English now and not Turkish. Hope this helps.

Can you put the gist of the pattern in English? I am left handed as well and trying to work out what the translate means as handles in stead of double crochets I think?? Anyway is she using 4ply Cotton and what size hook please? Thanks

Para las orejitas 18 cadenas y luego nos vamos por todo el borde del tejido con puntos bajos.

I’m sorry , no I didn’t write it down . I watched on my iphone . I admit I had to zoom in a few times but if you press and hold the CC button you’ll see an option to auto translate and it says English . The translated words aren’t quite exact but I crochet well enough that I could follow along. I would not share or write her pattern here without her permission. But I would help if she’d like me to.

If you click on "cc" (to the right of the Play button) a drop-down menu will allow you to select the language you would like. The translation isn't perfect, but it is close enough that you can figure out what is being done.
