    I'm glad she was denied. This was such a sensless crime which makes it that much more heartbreaking, they could off just walked away from the friendship. @magdalenamezyd6150 I agree, if they didn’t like Skyler they definitely could’ve had walked away from the friendship. But Shelia and Rachel, the two evil witches decide to stab Skyler Neese to death multiple times, as Skyler Neese was trying to fight for her life that night. A wise person told me, the ones who are closest to you can hurt you the most. It doesn’t matter if Skyler knew Shelia for decades, real friends can turn on you to as well. If I don’t want to be someone’s friend, I would walk away from the friendship, not go and kill someone. I don’t have a heart to do some s**t 🤬 like that. I’m also glad they keep denying Rachel’s parole. RIP Skyler.

Well, as of May 9, the board didn't think so, but provided she maintains her good behavior and doesn't rack up any additional charges (some inmates have been known to pick fights when they know someone is about to get released, in attempt to prevent it from happening) she'll be out in 2028, per her projected release date.

Sure its behind glass, but at least they can still communicate. Skylar's family don't get that luxury.
      Think of the person you love most in the whole world. Your mum? Your dad? Your significant other? Your son or daughter? Your pet? Your best friend? If someone stabbed this loved one to death, while they were screaming in agony "why?? Why?? Why??" and left their blood-soaked body hidden underneath a pile of sticks to rot, would you still be saying that? What if the murderer comforted you, pretended to join in on the search, sat on your loved ones bed with you, cried with you, and tricked you into believing they were just a concered friend?
      Their punishment couldn't be more merciful. Unlike Skylar, they're still alive, they're not on death row, they can still talk to their families, they get free meals, free education, clean clothes, a bed to sleep on, and companionship. That's absolute bliss compared to what Skylar and her family got. Heck, in this economy, they're living better lives than some of the working class. The Neeses need justice now. If these girls are suffering, it's penance for their crime. But by setting them free, Skylar and her family suffer for no reason at all.

      It’s probably because her Lawyer told her she’ll be getting out in 2028. I think she already knew she wasn’t getting paroled. If you look at her projected release it’s 2028, as I believe in their state, if she serves half her sentence, she is basically guaranteed release if she hasn’t had any problems in prison.
      I still don’t buy her act. She only confessed after she spoke to her Lawyer to work out getting a deal, and snitched on Sheila and made out it was all her fault, yet Rachel was the one with the most to lose if people found out her and Sheila were having sex. She minimised her involvement, and you can even see a letter that Shelia eddy sent to her cousin whilst in prison that Rachel had told another inmate she was nervous before the trial because she lied and if they found out they’d take her deal away.

I wonder how far her relationship with Shelia declined after the murder, because once their common enemy was gone there was nowhere to target their combined energies, other than disjointed attempts at dodging the police. I mean, if Shelia's as bad as Rachel said (putting total faith in the idea that a convicted murderer is telling the truth) then getting intensely involved with Senorita Psychopath can't have been good. On the other hand, think of what landed Rachel in the looney bin in the first place - a physical altercation resulting from a mental breakdown while arguing with her parents. Rachel spent her whole life basically playacting for these two people, only to have her entire facade (and any prospective future) unravel when dear ol' Mom and Dad figured out she was a murderer. The more I think about it, I'm wondering why nobody else seems to have thought of that, no wonder she had a breakdown. Remorse had nothing to do with it, and after an argument like that? Lawyering up is the Only logical thing to do at that point.

I’m sure she does feel remorse for what she did, but I don’t think she’s ever been completely honest about her involvement. But parents don't monitor their kids anymore on social media until something else happens. Just look at the way the world is today with these kids no respect for anybody with authority. So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana".
    I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly…
    I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling.
    He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car.
    A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.

      I agree, although i know since day 1 the Eddy's and Clendenen family have been absolutely hushed. Shelia would be absolutely fascinating (is that twisted?) to listen to although i doubt she would divulge much, re the murder weapons, etc disposal, her relationship with Rachel the arguments with Skylar etc which as Rachel says heightened their tensions and led to them wanting to 'dispose' of their friend! It would be fascinating

    • @ATRaine
      @ATRaine Рік тому +5

      While Shelia might be eligible for parole in five years she's unlikely to get it, she knows it, her family knows it and above all her attorney knows it. Their decision to remain silent was most likely counsel-directed, that way she won't end up saying anything that would directly conflict with whatever testimony she would give at her first hearing. Not that it'll make much of a difference, but they're basically gonna try to check the boxes of what the parole board would wanna hear, and leave it at that. As for Rachel, similar vein, except she'll be out eventually no matter what - but if what she says during interviews compromise her time served, that could be the difference between getting out in 2028, and 2044.

    For anyone who doesn't understand how the system works, they will have no other choice but to let her out in 2028. That's when she will completely discharge her sentence. As in no parole officer, no supervision of any kind, no restrictions, etc.
    While I get why everyone is glad she was denied parole...They're in a sense just going to do her a favor if they make her complete her sentence like that.
    At least if they ever let her out on parole, she would still be under the thumb of the system for awhile. But either way it goes, they HAVE TO let her go at some point. No way around it.
    Sheila on the other hand is serving life with the possibility of parole. All she has is that ELIGIBILITY. As In no guarantee of ever getting out. The parole board can continue denying her release til the day she dies.

Classes like Thinking for Change, 99 days , Victim Awareness, NA / AA , Along with so many other classes. If ur working while locked up, had any write ups etc in the amount of time already locked up. Their lust derailed into carnage and possibly abuse from Shelia towards Rachel. That's one theory I have, but not the only one, and unfortunately they'll never confirm.

    • @davidfairweather3301

      @@ATRaineI think Rachel was much more willing in the murder than she makes out. We see pictures of her the day after and even her family said she was completely fine and there’s pictures of her smiling and happy. It was only when the lie detector test was asked of her, and when her lies became too much to keep control of that she had a breakdown. Not because of guilt but because she didn’t want to go to prison. And before she did confess she went to her lawyer so she could work on getting a deal if she snitched on Sheila. I think it’s easy to think Sheila is way worse than her because of how polarising she is, and her complete lack of obvious remorse, but I think a lot of Rachel’s crying and sadness was simply for herself, and the fact she’s brought shame to her family, not for killing Skylar.

    • @ATRaine
      @ATRaine Рік тому +4

      @@davidfairweather3301Yeah I think you're right, her breakdown had absolutely nothing to do with guilt or feeling sorry for what she did. The real reason? I think her mom and dad figured out their daughter is a murderer and they let her know that under no uncertain terms. I mean, she had gotten in a Huge fight with her parents that escalated into a physical altercation before landing her in the looney bin. Most logical thing after something like that would be to lawyer up and confess before her parents potentially beat her to it, because not only had years of her good Christian girl masquerade been totally annihilated once they saw Rachel's true colors, their realization meant she failed and that life as she knew it was over. True, it's all too easy to demonize Shelia because Rachel's narrative is ultimately twisted in her favor, and it worked, as evident through the debates over how much remorse she has (or doesn't have). Shelia's psychopathy is more in-your-face like you said, that doesn't mean Rachel is opposition to that but people have this weird tendency to be skeptical of nearly everything else, yet believe everybody lies except for a convicted murderer.

      @@attilafry she'll be out in 2028 provided she maintains her good behavior. What do you think she'll do then? Reason I ask, you've been a staunch defender of Rachel Shoaf for months, and while I admire the tenacity of defending your stance while knowing it's an unpopular one, I am lost on how she is deserving more than anybody else. Granted I've never met her and I don't plan to, but she is not innocent.
      Rachel put on the Christian girl act long before Shelia was ever around, leading a whole congregation to believe she was somebody she wasn't, and the reason she confessed? She raced to get a deal before her own parents turned her in. Who knows how long Skylar's case would've sat in a cold filing cabinet were it not for Rachel's word - Her narrative, and to believe it's not biased in her favor would be naive. The surest sign of its effectiveness, would be how easy it is to demonize Shelia as the debates rage on forever over whether or not Rachel felt remorse. I'm not exactly sending Shelia love letters myself, but least with her you Know what she is because she carries a big neon sign over her head that reads "Lifer", has aged twice the average rate and her glimmer and smiles are gone. But Rachel? To this day she hides behind that cross. She's been in the church more than long enough to know how to exploit it. She may know how to blend, but her smile hasn't changed. If you're not careful, it might be easy to forget...

    There is simply no excuse for what those girls did to Skylar. Obviously I didn’t know her personally, but just based on the way other people described Skylar and her kind heart, I truly believe that she never would have exposed the girls’ relationship knowing the damage it could’ve caused them. I really think that they could have avoided all of this by just having an open conversation with her.
