I'm Chahta and Irish here in Turtle Island(north America) we have many of the same types of beings in our stories. ❤ I have even had a small being visit me before when I was sleeping in a semi wild part of the wilderness in the middle of the night, they even told me their name, which I will not say here out of respect for them. ❤ Great podcast
Wonderful discussion. It has inspired me to make a record of when I visit stone circles and if they make me feel energetically different at certains times of the year/moon phases
@@themodernfairysightingspod8421 i personally feel one of the most important things for good mental health is to be curious exploring and experiencing the mystery of existence in our earth bound form.
Great discussion. I was especially interested in the concept of stone circles either energising or de-energising depending on when they are visited. I have very much experienced this, and it would be a fascinating avenue of research.
Really enjoyed this conversation....David is a fountain of knowledge..I must get in touch with him....thanks Jo for this...peace and love Billy from Cavan Ireland 🇮🇪
I really agree with the idea that stone circles are still energetically active. In 2019 I visited the UK and I did the walk from Amesbury to Stonehenge. I was going down the slope towards the bend in the avenue and about 30 or 40 yards before the gate I was suddenly engulfed in a really big energy. It was powerful and I started to cry and I looked up the slope towards the henge(you can't see it at this low spot) and thought "It's alive!".

You have to be careful with linear, emotion-driven subjective projections. Feeling energized can be the result of intoxication. Feeling drained can be the result of healing, after which the organism has gone into regeneration mode.
Thanks for your comment here. I think it's also important to trust your own intuition. if you are there and you have the sense of something, you can trust that. Or at least work with that idea and see if it sits well (compared to other visits etc) otherwise we can tie ourselves in knots. Whatever you feel works for you will work for you but we wont expect others to relate/make sense of it in the same way. It's up to each of us to decide that. I'm not a fan of dogma of any kind. Be free to explore what is true for you 🙏
@@themodernfairysightingspod8421 I'm talking about objective reality and the appropriate approach to it especially with regard to the ability of realising deeper, mutual truth. It's either the analytical mind or the synchronisation of every faculty of the individual self which is in charge here and not emotionalised subjectivity, esspecially if it's loose and out of control, i.e. disconnected and alienated from every other faculty of the individual self. Therefore I have to demonstratively fully and totally reject your stance and approach. Particularly in that regard of the specific context of my initial comment and furthermore of the broader context of what's wrong with western civilisation and westeners in general. Which is what I call hyperemotionalism or hyperemotional subjectivity and that being a toxic, dysfunctional, tricksterish, i.e. decieving, misleading and numbing thing. That's my comprehensive realization so far. And there's certainly no way back. You know, under certain conditions I could and would quite agree with your "my truth your truth" and "no dogma" stance. Namely if IT knows its place and if IT is in its place, to put it this way. Then Yes. But IT doesn't. Emotionalism and subjectivity is totally loose and out of control in every aspect of life in the west. Therefore No, absolutely No. I have absolutely zero interest in decieving, misleading and numbing myself with subjectivity and hyperemotionalism and particularly with positivity. It's just so toxic and so alienating. I can explain this in detail if you wish. But I'll leave it at that for now.
The inverse can be true: tired due to intoxicants or energised by healing. What matters is seeing the theme of what people experience who weren't expecting anything in particular or knew nothing of the lore. They confirm it. But also experienced people who are able to truly observe their intuitive senses regardless of what others prime them with, they can observe the most objectively
@@vanessac1965 No, it can't. That's the disastrous fallacy. And even if it was true it's totally missing the point and is only about justification and apologetics. But healing never energises. Stress does. That's the point of stress. The point of healing is to nullify and reverse it and its effects. And that's why healing can be dangerous. Healing can kill you. That's actually possible. Just to make that clear. And what you experience can decieve you. When you're attached to the virtual, theatrical layer of reality and miss the deeper, archetypal layer of reality. Not understanding or even denying this shows a blatant alienation and disconnectedness from genuine objective reality in particular as well as the "multidimensional" nature of reality in general. The same is true for compulsive overemphasis on the subjective, intuitive and disregard for the analytical intellect necessary to understand that and how healing can be dangerous and is not part of objective reality, or how experience can be a multidimensional, multi-layered phenomenon. These "my truth your truth" and "no dogma" cards are nothing but a smokescreen in that regard. Obfuscation for the purpose of apologetics of hyper-emotional subjectivity. That's my point, and that's why I will always reject linear-binary emotionalist-subjectivist apologetics, if necessary even more than would actually be appropriate, simply because there is such a blatant imbalance here in the West. People here, even the supposedly alternative and spiritual ones, refuse to face up to what the enlightenment and modernity have done and is doing to them. This unrestrained emotionalisation is a significant part of the problem, not the solution.
