That plus the section where you have to summon the Jinjonator while Gruntilda is going all out with fireballs and homing spells...
Every phase except the first one is difficult for me because I’m doomed to lose health or fall off the stage due to a BLINKING FIREBALL!!!

Nothing. They are leftovers in case you didn't get all 100 of them, you actually just need 98 to get everything from game, but you will not see the final cutscene about stop 'n' swop if you do not get all 100 of them.
