Went back looking again today and they still aren't poking through the leaves yet. There was 2 other guys out looking for them too, but they weren't in my honey hole spot 😎😂

Ground looks real moist. Here in South Eastern Ohio it is way too dry and the ground is all crunchy

Wont cutting the morels at the base of the stalk allow them to grow back in the same spot the next time??😃😃

I found nearly 100 black morels in mid Michigan so far
