I HATED Edmund here. How dare he! And how dare the writers. Oh how the writers trashed Brooke and Edmund's love.
I think Edmund was so in love with Maria and so besotted by grief, he was just lashing out at Brooke. When you're hurt, we sometimes blame and say things we do not mean.
@@dianevan2326 No. It was more than that. He TARGETED her. He really thought it was her fault. After everything Brooke meant to Edmund, the writers really blew it with this scene...Edmund was once so in love with Brooke he asked her to come back to him THREE WEEKS before his wedding to Maria. This scene made absolutely no sense.
How did Maria die?
@@maria7689 She 'died' in a plane crash...only to come back a few years later with amnesia.
