I literally started my school journey to a law degree and it seems much less daunting than returning to this game I stopped playing 7 years ago with 300 hours Insane
Dude I first started playing in 2013 a couple days after it came out, put 300 hours into the game in 2 - 3 weeks, and in the 10+ years since then I've put another 300 hours into it because the added content just became so ultra confusing.
i took a big break from this game, but the 1999 trailer has convinced me to download and try to get back into the game. with 1353 hours at time of writing, its kind of terrifying to me that 80 percent of this video may as well have been in greek for all that i understood.
Damn! I left Warframe in 2017 With 4110 hours I've been back for 32 days now and I think "finished the main content" As usual i need to grind for weapons, But ill take my time
On the one hand, this is exactly what I needed to get back into the game. On the other, that sounds like too much and intimidating. Whatever happened to just running endless defense missions in corridor maps? Feels like now you need a PhD just to be able to make a build.
The builds in this game is part of the problem for me. I really don’t have the brain power to want to try new learn all this. Nor do I care enough. I want to play this game but so much of it just scares me away
@@BonzerMrT feel you bro, but the game itself is not really that hard in difficulty sense, so you can play it with a more laid off approach and you will be just fine, sure there are some spikes here and there on end game stuff, but most of the game you really don't need any meta build/frame
I understand.... I really miss this game but it feels ridiculously intimidating to return to. I easily put 400 hrs into it and stopped around 2018 too.
I havent played since 2017. Just came back today. I am lost atm so just jumping straight into random quests and finishing em. This should be alot of help!! Thanks!
Hey bro just got back after a few years really enjoying the game again feels pretty fresh and there’s a crazy amount of stuff to do. Glad I found you again couldn’t remember the name at first but I’m happy you’re still in it.
I just hopped back on today after 8 or 9 years with my built soma prime thinking alright surely there hasn't been much power creep boy was I wrong lmao
I’m watching this and like I’m confused on how I’ve missed so much, and at the same time it’s daunting because why does every single thing need a faction leveling, secret side mission within hubs that also take hours upon hours to level, a billion resources to collect, like it’s a lot. I need a squad or someone to like sit down and play for a few hours and properly lead me through just a little bit. These videos are cool but it’s just so much information thrown at your face that it actually turns me off from trying to play this game Like wtf is is archon shards?? Why do I need ANOTHER set iof resources to grind and level up this is crazy
Same dude. I've been away for maybe 6-7 years, and I have no clue where to start. Was considering starting over, but I dont want to lose all of my primes 😢
5 year hiatus for me, when I quit I was at 27 MR because that was the max mastery rank. Now returning to the game for the first time since then, it's a whole new game. The last thing I remembered was waiting for the New War quest to drop after waiting years for it. I got around 1900 hours logged on Warframe, been playing since before there were Archwings. Can't believe there is so much content I haven't played yet. Imagine what it feels like to be a new player, overwhelming.
Bro just rapid fired like 200 different terms I've never heard before. I played like 1000 hours of this game (in its first couple years) and I understood none of this. This is like a "returning after 1 week" guide lol. I'll just wing it. 🤣

I just wanna say, this guide is probably great, but I can't say it's the "ultimate" because it assumes players know how to play and navigate menus. I stopped playing 10 years ago, with over 600 hours of playtime. I'm straight-up a new player who is playing on an old account that doesn't give me any tutorials, doesn't tell me how to fight, is extremely OP to the point where enemies are dying before I can even shoot them. So I'm not even thinking yet about which missions to do first, but just how the heck do I learn the core basic mechanics. I figured out that I can slide and roll but I am not given any kind of training to help me understand how I should be using that stuff in combat. With that said, it seems that a "beginner's guide" is more what I need, or a combination of the two, but even a beginner's guide isn't going to explain the kind of stuff that the game would've shown through tutorial missions or whatever.
I like the idea of playing Warframe but every time I come back, I see all the layered systems on top of alreadly layered systems ON TOP of reputation grinding and it just really takes me out.
Good god this still feels so difficult to get back into. Last time i played i used equinox slidespinning with atterax and that was great. Does nothing now.
As a long time Destiny player looking for my next looter shooter, this already feels so difficult to get into. I know Destiny has the same entry problem.
Idk feel like this guide could be remade and actually focus on what matters, cause i felt like most of it was same thing and like i seen from comments getting a Degree feels like is easier to get into then going based on this guide.
other than styanax which frames would you say are must haves for returning player to use and which areas of the game/game modes, should they be used in
Bro, I bought Sevagoth back when it release without doing the quest and after playing sometime with him, I left the game and recently got the spark back but goddamnit I dont know where to start. Like I want l finish the tempestari quest but i cant find a guild to equip my railjack lmao
I'm left Warframe when Fortuna was about to be released (like what 6-7 years ago?) but I was pretty much maxed out during that time and did everything the game had to offer so I moved on. Now I'm debating of coming back but watching this I'm not so sure😅
Last I played it was when nova was released. Loved braton prime because it was the closest thing to real bullets it was too many energetic weapons. Loved dera though. Supra was cool too and boltor. Does this game have any AR or smg like braton now? Or anything that shoots real bullets and not projectiles?
TBH im totally lost with warframe now.. iirc last time i played is several ears ago.. should i just reset and start over? because i totally dont remember how and what should I do.. but i already farmed so many frames and mastering weapon.. im at rank 25 also btw.. T__T
The video barely started and I'm already lost. I don't think it's your fault, I think a game this old with this much is bound to have compelx stuff but it's kinda rough
Yo if i had left some stuff unfinished or untouched, should I get to those first? cuz i didnt do alot of fortuna/cetus stuff and I would finally like to get a 177 AMP, also the revenant quest is also yet to be unlocked bec im not the appropriate rank wirh quills
the iFlynn cycle:
1 - quit warframe
2 - come back months later
3 - start a guide series
4 - don't finish it
repeat from step 1
Real, this one ain't a series tho
You ever plan on remaking the beginners guide series? @@xiFlynn
Wasn't the beginners guide series completed(for the amount of contemt available at the time)? Or are you referring to another series
I’m back on step 3 😭😭

The goat is back
How do i play the game again?
The og guider iFlynn is back😂🙌
I like the idea of playing Warframe but every time I come back, I see all the layered systems on top of alreadly layered systems ON TOP of reputation grinding and it just really takes me out.
Good god this still feels so difficult to get back into. Last time i played i used equinox slidespinning with atterax and that was great. Does nothing now.
Goodness warframe needs it own class
Dang so many new stuff since I lastly played Warframe :D
8:08 nah, holdfasts give up to 20000 standing in a single max steel path bounty, ranking up with them is easy as hell compared to Cavia and their 7.5k
My good sir do you believe that a player who has left the game will have gear good enough to accomplish a max steel path bounty :(
@xiFlynn even the regular non steel path ones give 5 quills, which is 12.5k. That is far more than the shit the cavia gives you.
Help, my Nova Prime and Soma Prime do not cut through the enemies like a hot knife through butter any more.
What did change?
As a long time Destiny player looking for my next looter shooter, this already feels so difficult to get into. I know Destiny has the same entry problem.
I've played for about 150 hours and I am still lost with half the mechanics of thr game
Been gone for 2 years. Just came back. It's way too much man. I just finished rail jack. Now I need nechromech. And I got no clue how to get
Idk feel like this guide could be remade and actually focus on what matters, cause i felt like most of it was same thing and like i seen from comments getting a Degree feels like is easier to get into then going based on this guide.
But I thought that huge ship for 4 people is the new content, and they gonna keep expanding on it? You didn't even mention it. Should I just skip it?
other than styanax which frames would you say are must haves for returning player to use and which areas of the game/game modes, should they be used in
Its been so long since i played, i barely understood what you where saying. Maybe its better as a memory.
Wow you're back
Bro, I bought Sevagoth back when it release without doing the quest and after playing sometime with him, I left the game and recently got the spark back but goddamnit I dont know where to start.
Like I want l finish the tempestari quest but i cant find a guild to equip my railjack lmao
Haven't touched this game since 2015
I'm left Warframe when Fortuna was about to be released (like what 6-7 years ago?) but I was pretty much maxed out during that time and did everything the game had to offer so I moved on. Now I'm debating of coming back but watching this I'm not so sure😅
I will say you can easily catch up in 3-4 weeks. It looks worse than it really is, haha.
I am afraid of coming back 😂
Just came back to the game
Last thing i did was get my first Kuva Weapon. Seens like i have a lot to do
I haven’t played in 9 years and everything is so different. I have no idea wtf I’m doing
F for Wynter #feelsbadman
Starting over new account and all
Who else played back in 2015?
Me trying to come back nown
Same I'm confused asf
And now I have no clue what's happening 🤣
Haven't played since 2018, I am so lost...
Havent played for good 6+ years, after i heard plums you lost me... Aint no way I'm getting back to this.
Yo if i had left some stuff unfinished or untouched, should I get to those first? cuz i didnt do alot of fortuna/cetus stuff and I would finally like to get a 177 AMP, also the revenant quest is also yet to be unlocked bec im not the appropriate rank wirh quills
