Agreed. I watched one of the videos by happenstance one day and I have not but disappointed. I grew up in a small rural town and I remember my grandmother had chickens and hogs/pigs and yes all of the grandchildren had chores. There was no cable TV, video games, etc. we actually played outside in the dirt, fields, and even in the woods with no fear.

When I lived on my uncle farm I use to slop the pigs he built a feeding trough for them...It was such a good experience living on his farm and Megan has natural beauty nothing wrong with that but it's good for a lady or gentleman to pamper themselves once in awhile.

One of my favorite things about you all is how you are so real and instead of promoting so many expensive products on the homestead you encourage others to use what they have and can use. That’s how I teach my children on our homestead!!

Tim, you need more help. When will you be ready to improve and modernize your animal shelters? The pig shelter; putting in a floor and improving the pig runs so that they are more organized, attractive and even safer for the children to enter them. I realize you have to finish your own home first but I look forward to seeing your other important structures looking less hap hazard. No shade at all, obviously, you have a good amount of land but an extremely small work force. Can you reach out for help? Maybe from other homesteading youtubers?
