As the ‘better half’ of an empty nester couple 😉 we hardly ever have a quiet household! We have 11 grands and are very active outside the home. But, you have to spend time BEFORE your nest becomes empty preparing for this time in your life. Develop that relationship with your spouse and remember that this is the person you will travel with, go to grandson’s football games with, go out to eat with, etc. Don’t let it sneak up on you! But it IS a fabulous time in our lives!

Empty nester of about 8 yrs now, but I have a 100 grandbabies....lol...not really (8+a bonus+1 on the way) but a few act like they 50 kids themselves! 🤦♀️
But I do miss having my kids home.

Girl speaking of empty nesters. My last baby is leaving to college next month and I am dreading going from a busy stay at home mom for 22 years to now having a quiet home. I’m already starting to feel bored and lonely because hubby works long hours and my son spends most of his time locked up in his room because he’s such an introvert. I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself when he leaves to go to college. I currently sell on EBay full-time that’s why I watch your channel for inspiration to get better. I’m also looking at other things to do to occupy my time cause I am not use to being bored girl. Anyways keep doing what you do and embrace having a busy life with kids cause it’s definitely bitter sweet when they leave the nest. Love watching your channel! Take care.
Aww Tracy, 💕 thank you for watching from what a lot friends have told me. Remembering hobbies they enjoyed before kids seems to help, reaching out to friends, joining groups (even online) can help 💕 I can only imagine the transition being difficult but if you ever need to talk my dms are open
While not an empty nester, my husband works a lot. I do a side gig that is super flexible and something I find to be fun. I also reach out to friends to do outings, make a bucket list of things to do in my area, and volunteer when I can. As someone who works with college students, you will do great!
I agree 100% about needing to feel the fabrics. People often underestimate their tactile (touch) abilities. I can always tell 100% cashmere, silk, wool, linen, etc just by touching it.
Wait, what's this thing where people claim resellers steal from the poor? How? That's laughable. Are they unaware how much textile waste we have in the US? Well, clearly those people aren't critical thinkers...or thinkers at all. Lol. Having said that, I've certainly never heard or seen anyone say resellers "steal from the poor" and I've been a reseller for 4 years now. So it couldn't be thaaaat common.
I had twins my 12th grade year of highschool. They were the only kids I had. I've been an empty nester since I was 37. It's been almost 10 years now. I do miss having small children.

I just learned something from you I want to get into live selling but I thought that all of those items had to be preloaded on your page. But correct me if I'm wrong you can just assign a number to that item and then people bid on that number and you just send it off is that correct?
