Does The Stain Ever Disappear ? Coffee Spilled And Discarded | Carpet Cleaning | Satisfying ASMR

- The owner of this rug dropped a pot of hot coffee onto this rug and then discarded it outside before i picked it up.
Hot coffee on a wool rug is one of the hardest stains to remove as it almost acts as a dye.
Throughout this whole clean i wasn't sure i would ever get this out but it miraculously disappeared to almost nothing once dried.
I was surprised as some of you may be.
I hope you enjoy and relax to the video.

ahhhhh i love when the rug's colors are more subtle like this and you really get to see them develop throughout the cleaning instead of just all pop out at once after the first shampooing 🥰🥰

Never thought there was a such thing as rug abuse but after watching these videos I now know there is. Thank you for rehabilitating and giving this rugs a second chance at life. Also if you see this mountain rug cleaning, what got you into cleaning rugs?
I found your channel while I was in bed sick. Absolutely love your work. But now I'm lying here extremely frustrated because I'm itching to clean every carpet in my house! 🤣 It's clear you are passionate about your work. There's love in what you do and how you do it, and I find that strangely compelling and inspiring. Also, the videos are just so... yup, SATISFYING. 😁
How is it that I’m totally captivated by this?? I’ve watched 3. I’m grossed out and intrigued at the same time. Furthermore, I’m finding it relaxing. It’s amazing! Love Dirt Reynolds, but the squeegee just makes me happy. Good work!! I
Very satisfying to see a rug go from nasty to nice! I love the process, no music just the lovely sounds of the machines & guessing what you'll do next!
Whenever I am having a bad day, I love to watch these. I never knew how relaxing it could be. I thank you for that. You do a really good job cleaning them too!
I can't explain why I enjoy these videos to much...but I always do!
Im glad to hear that.
The color of the liquid coming off the end of the rug at 0:39 looked rich and full-bodied. I love watching as patterns emerge on the carpet.
Today was a very tiring day. But since I know that you'll upload a new video, I'm fine. I was just so excited to be able to sit and relax while watching your video. It was super satisfying, as always. Thanks for sharing! Well done, anyway.
Hope you enjoyed it!
Wow, there's no way anyone would know this rug had been badly stained. It's so bright gold now. Great job.
I love how genuine your videos are. There's so many "cleaning" videos where it's obvious that they just dumped a bag of garden soil onto a mostly clean rug just to film it's "amazing transformation". Your videos feature stubborn stains like this one- stuff it takes some actual work and know-how in order to clean. I know I would have given up and just soaked the whole rug in coffee to match the stain, lol.
I have a nice ckean coming up next. Free clean for a father of 4 whos also a carer to his wife.
Ckean
I love watching you clean these dogs that look hopeless. I smile or outright laugh when I see "Dirt Reynolds" or "R2 Clean 2". I appreciate the humor.
I washed a shag rug yesterday and pressure washed it with a 3in fire hose. Worked great!
I never thought watching someone clean a rug could be so damn satisfying.... and then I found you on tiktok and now I'm here binging your videos. soo... thanks for the satisfying entertainment!
I think you should run a contest before you start cleaning each time: "What color is this rug really?" I never would have guessed it was that light gold color given the way it looked before...
Coming from SE Texas on the Gulf of Mexico every time it rain half the city flood and every other year it's a Hurricane so I completely believe the conditions of these rugs
Wow! Coffee stains are hard to get out. But you did a great job
Thanks so much! 😊
A lot of coffee over and over
I LOVE it when you squeegee that part always satisfies me the most! I could always watch a video of you just squeegeeing every single day and never get tired of it. Honestly I just love your videos, it helps me fall asleep and I'm super glad that UA-cam has suggested me to follow you. I'm still very new and loving everything. Great job! 💞🫶
Why am I addicted to this? I love this!!
This rug is all sorts of beautiful.
Love love love these videos. Most relaxing to watch.
Glad you enjoy it!
To be honest I would brew up a few pots of coffee and soak this in it for a few a days then clean it and call it fixed! Lol Great job as always!
Haha half way through this that came to mind 🤣
@@MountainRugCleaning 🤣 Great minds think alike!
I never knew so many people put their rugs outside and leave them! It would never occur to me to do that. Makes for great rug cleaning so I’m glad they do.
So satisfying the scrubbing then squeegee afterwards makes me happy 😍😍😍😍😍
This one is going to be good!!!
probably one of my favorite rugs so far. i love the modern geometric look
I have to ask, how big is your drying room? Can we get a timelapse vid of the carpets drying afterward? I shampooed my rug outside in summer once. It took days in the sun to get dry enough to re-lay, so I'm curious how you guys manage it.
if all of that's coffee, this had to be one of the rare times when a particularly filthy rug smelled great instead of like cat piss or dirt
Me in every single video: “Oooh, yeah. That looks clean.”
WOW!!!! The colour of this rug is amazing. Well done.
Another great transformation. Keep up the great work
Thank you! Will do!
I’m severely sick rn and watching these somehow calms my nerves lol
my favorite part is when he wipes the floor with the blue sweep, it's just so satisfying to me lol
Add this one to my loop sleep list! 😍 This one was Dreamy! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
In the hospital and forgot its Friday. What a lovely surprise
Thanks for another great video James!!!❤
My pleasure!!
Husband at 13:47: "Oh God, put the dirt back on!"
Yeah, this rug isn't either of our favorites. Well done though, as always!
I dunno if u get tired of cleaning rugs but watching it never gets old..😂❤
The vacuuming on this one was top notch 👌
Not as dirty as other carpets Ive seen on this channel, bit still really satisfying.
Oooooeeeeee. It’s the best blue floor squeegee job yet! Yup it’s me - blue squeegee woman from Canada. 😊
Ooohh, I really liked the POV shots from the handles of the brush/etc
Thats good. A lot of people dont unfortunately
I HAD TO WATCH THIS TRICE SO SOOTHING
😌
Anyone else love to guess before cleaning starts what colour the rugs gonna be, or just me lol 🤣 I didn't guess this colour tho...
This was so satisfying! Thank you, James! Amazing job! 💖
You're so welcome!
Amazing as always ❤
I can only think of a couple of reasons a carpet could possibly get this bad, and the owners pay to get it cleaned rather than buy a new one.
-Their grandparent, parent, etc., passed down the carpet to you, meaning it is an heirloom and has sentimental value. However, you never really cared for the rug and let it get dirty. Your family who gave the rug to you want to come over. They’d most likely want to see the rug sometime during the visit; and there is no way you are letting them see the rug in that condition. So at that point, you pay to get it cleaned. (Even more impertinent if the rug is unique and you can’t find a replica to purchase anywhere)
-The rug doesn’t even have to have been passed down for generations among your family, it could just bring good memories. (Getting proposed to on the carpet, getting a college acceptance letter, your child taking first steps on it) Anything like that. Over time the rug would eventually get worn down or dirty. By then, you don’t want to throw the memories away so you pay to get it cleaned. 🤷
Can you stretch a rug when cleaning it? If so how do you prevent it
Why is this so satisfying 😍
We love Fridays 🧼
Owner admiring the clean rug: I could sure go for a cup of coffee.
My goodness, the rug, like all of them, starts off here looking as if it's been left soaking for weeks in strong coffee!
As usual you did a stellar job of cleaning it... That being said, I'm not at all sure the coffee stain was completely unintentional... 😉 "Oh no... I dropped the coffee pot on the rug! oh well, we'll just have to get rid of it." "Can't we just get it cleaned?" "Nope, nope, that'll never come out, it has to go I'm afraid." 🤣
Soap swirl! Also, the manual brush asmr is fabulous
You sure it was a pot and not a vat of coffee he spilled?
Good clean up job! 💙💙🥰
pot or normal dirt would be easier to remove for him🤣
well it looks like a bathtub of coffee doesnt it lol
I can’t stop watching these. We have a company here that cleans them like this and I love going in there to watch lol
R2 CLEAN2 and a ride along cam. Loved it.
That's why heavy coffee drinkers should dye their wool rugs in coffee so that it doesn't matter if you spill coffee on it, as long as you don't take it with a lot of cream and sugar
My Friday off motivation the bleach my wall. Ty James have a great weekend all
Have a good one .
I didn’t read the full title at first and definitely thought the color/stain indicated this rug belonged to a smoker. So dirty!
Thats a pretty big coffee stain!
looks like more than coffee was dropped on that rug
That videos are pretty relaxing for me.
so enjoy your videos and would like to compliment you on your workspace, always spotlessly clean and tidy BTW. Dirt Renolds is a hoot.
0:33 14:59 James I swear im done with you and these angles hahaha Love! Love! Love! I like the pattern and color of this rug.. I find it retro. amazing job and this is so relaxing watching at the end of the day that im curled in bed under the covers traumatized by daily life. lol Enjoy your weekend love
Haha i know you love thoes angl hope es so ill keep doing them 😄 hope you had a great weekend
@@MountainRugCleaning If you ever hold out on angles I will have a tantrum like a child lol Enjoy your week 🎅
I’m a fairly new subscriber so maybe you have a video already explaining this, but how do you typically dry the rugs you clean? Do you just use the suction to suck the water out and that’s it? Do you lay them in the sun? I’m curious! Love these videos. Keep up the good content!
Thanks for subbing. I hang them to dry after the vacuum extraction.
@@MountainRugCleaning ohhhhh. I jabe
Sorry not sure what happens but I was trying to say I have been wondering the same question too. 😊😊
Just how huge was that pot of coffee!?
I like your methods and the googly eyes.
That must’ve been the largest cup of Turkish coffee on that rug!!!
I was waiting to see the back. I bet that was from a coffee shop or a convenience store that sold coffee. Probably a mom and pop though cause I wouldnt have tossed it out.
Not sure if you have similar services on your side of the pond. Rug and Mat rentals where they swap them out? Probably do. Although those commercial mats have rubber backs... That's still a nice rug. Some OXY prolly knocked it out...
I like your video😍😍
good job
Thanks
David you really are too kind. Thankyou
I’m putting wobbly eyes in all my cleaning equipment now, I love the idea 😂😂😂
Jeez, did they spill the whole pot of coffee?! Good job!
Do longer videos dont cut up from them while editing everything you are doing is amazing and is asmr
Coffee is acidic, and wool loves an acidic dye (I spin wool and silk into yarn). Animal (protein) fibers like acid. Plant fibers prefer alkaline.
R2 clean 2, clever 😁
Apparently, using soap fixes the coffee stain. If the owner had tried rubbing the stain with a soap solution that may already have fixed it before you got it. It may have been worth trying baking soda on the stain before doing the usual clean. Good effort though.
Huh. You must be new around these parts. We never tell James what to do…..EVER!!😉
Dirt Reynolds is a clever name, but I really feel like Dirt Backarug is a missed opportunity
Hi! I have a genuine question…though it might be weird lol. But I’m quite curious-
Because of how much coffee was spilled, were you able to smell the coffee while you were cleaning it? Like with the first rinse and everything-
I know coffee has such a strong smell so I was wondering lol. I love your videos! ☺️ Sorry for the weird question lol 🤣
I have a sneaking suspension that not all of it is coffee, but I could be wrong, must have been a giant pot of coffee
I’m just dying over to googeley eyes and Dirt Reynolds. :D
I feel like up to a certain point once dried , a Kirby will definitely pull all the remaining dirt out .
I am very despressed i am always writing sad lyrics and uploading them to youtube but since i watch your videos i cant not even write sad lyrics because your videos are amazing for relaxing and calming
I feel psychological comfort 😅
Your video's are all so relaxing, thank you. I'm still trying to figure out what ASMr means.
I'm waiting for Steve mMcClean and Dry'n Gosling to make an appearance...
Looked like an insurance write-off from a coffeehouse brawl.
Have you considered having kind of like a perforated deck below the carpet so that the dirty water just drains from underneat tge carpet instead of it just bringing all the crap to the other side? It woukd save you tons of time and water!
That's been asked a few times. What it also does is drain the soapy water, preventing it from soaking in and loosening the deep dirt.
Me: This is so satisfying, he makes them so incredibly clean.
Also me at home: Let me just put bleach all over this because I'm paranoid about any germs that cleaning products might miss. (And yes I know that ruins the fibres.)
Loving the new camera angles on brushing and squeegee.
Dirt Reynolds is such a sweetheart
In the end he emptyed an entire lake and word for a day to get a well evident mismatch in color through the surface areas... once the carpet is so dirt, go and get a new one
I like to play what color is the rug before he started cleaning it
dang they must've spilt a lot of coffee
The room probably smelled like coffee for days 😮
I'd be curious to see you clean a more typically soiled rug for comparison.
One coming up next week.
@@MountainRugCleaning nice!
The googley eyes on Dirt Reynolds makes for better cleaning :)
Maybe some extra degreaser is needed for the stain.
This has really changed my theory about carpet cleaning. I've always owned a home type carpet cleaner and usually do it twice a year. I lay down the water/solution on my way forward and extract moving backward. I wonder if you should just wet the carpet and agitate for a few passes before extracting. Of course, you do have the carpet pad to consider. Anyone?
