First day of basic they literally gave us 15 minutes to shower ...60 female needing to shower in 6 showers we showered in groups girl 😭and we had no shower curtains they fixed the rest of the showers a few weeks later yes ...
You just brought me so much relief ! Thank gawsh they they have curtains on the showers! And thank gawsh there will be a possibility of maintaining my eye brows. I was worried about that!

So I heard that many showers are grouped and there are no curtains or doors but I also understand that your stressing so much and have such little time that it almost doesn’t matter! Is it true though that things like shaving won’t be something you can do, or etc? I’ve done some research and from what I’ve found there is most commonly grouped showers no shaving and strict hair regulations? I also heard it’s best for the first couple of days due to the extremely quick showers and expectations to be ready it’s best to just use whips and then as things settle down….

I think you by everything u need for basic at reception including conditioner:) I don’t think ur allowed to bring tweezers casue it’ll be considered a weapon. That guy had to sneak that in.

Just graduated 2/39 at Ft. Jackson, we had open bay showers, so not all the battalions have shower stalls, reception does though.
