Tan France tries on 4 different wedding dresses with Sarah Jossel | The Sunday Times Style

Tan France is back on our screens with his new version of Say Yes To The Dress, helping brides-to-be choose their perfect gown for the big day. So to celebrate and find out more about the show, Sarah Jossel met him at The Dorchester hotel in London to try on four different dresses: a meringue ball gown, a modern classic, a trouser suit and an aisle-blocking cape.
This interview took place prior to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike.

Not impressed with Tan on this show so far. The other episode I saw he only talks about what HE wants to see the bride in and his feelings. More than any other type of outfit, the *only* thing that matters is how the *bride / person* in the dress feels!

Will not watch again...each time I am disappointed and some times actually annoyed...

In my opinion, for a stylist, his outfit was not good. including the cut of the suit jacket, the t-shirt that didn't go, and the strange, athletic-looking shoes with heels.

Same what the hell?? It was diverse and even if it wasn’t, IDGAF! I want to see wedding dresses and hear a bit about people’s stories, not hear about race. They are always doing this. None of these outfits were very good

When you say it’s “forced” upon everyone … that tells me you’re white. The point is that it’s already part of non-white people’s daily life.
