Nice!! I grew up with one of these in my dad's basement and loved playing it. Played it countless hours and loved it. Sold it at some point in the earlier 2000s for like 300 dollars. I always hoped it went to someone who enjoyed it as much as I did! Those sounds sure do bring back memories.
Yeah I really sweated the details on this one. It went to a big fan of the game that played it at Fun and Games in Framingham back in the late 70's. His family bought it off of the owner but left it during a move years ago much to his dismay. He saw mine on that Chronicle episode I did a at the end of 2019 and said he wnated me to make him a super sweet nice one. This is the result. =)
Sr. I have a 6:54 1979 Superman Atari machine just like your video shows I need a few light bulbs small light bulbs what size are they and where can I buy them. Thanks
How easy are Atari pins to maintain when compared to other companies' pins? I heard that Atari ones were not very well engineered and were prone to breakdowns.
Atari pins can be a problem as not many work on them compared to Bally, Stern, Gottleib and Williams pins. But there is some nice engineering goingn on inside these games. Especially Superman.
hey was wondering if you might be able to assist with a trouble shooting on a suoerman pinball , or i looking for some working boards .... its for a special ocassion that would mean the world for our family
Sir, I have seen your UA-cam on your pinball machine. I have one exactly like that. A 1979 Superman. I purchased it about a year ago for my grandson. He's 10 years old. Everything's been working fine, but I just noticed tonight. Most of lights is not working when I turn it on. I can play It, it registers the Lights registers on the score, and so forth. Put Superman, the background backboard lights isn't working, and most of the base lights aren't working. I noticed when I opened the door there's 4 or 5 fuses at the right top of the inside of it. Can you kind of help me? Tell me where I could replace these fuses. 'cause it's gotta be a fuse blonde, please. Help me, God bless you.
Yes. You commented on my video 4 months ago looking for bulbs. Did you find them? Look at all the fuses. You should be able to see if any are blown. Best to consult a pinball repair tech in your area as he could come out and fix the issues with your game.
Ein toller Flipper aus einer tollen Zeit 😊

These are #44 lightbulbs available from The Pinball Resource or Pinball Life. You can also get them on Amazon as well as other retailers.
That's my holy grail pin.
I have another one that will come out just like this waiting in the wings for it's next owner. Could it be you? =)

I have an airborne avenger in amazing condition but it does not work, I’m unsure if I can fix it but it was $200 so I think it’s worth a shot
$200 is a good deal for one in that nice of condition. Jon's Jukes in Vancouver can fix your boards if needed.
@@pinballdoctor Ok, do you know how much fixing boards at johns jukes might cost? Also, can you ship boards to them?
NOt sure but I know you can ship boards to John. You need to contact him first via his website.

Not sure where to find them except for Ebay or John's Jukes in Canada.
