Out of all of the RHCP performances on UA-cam not one can compare to this, the intro is amazing, the solo man.. no words to explain it, this performance just captures everything that's great about this band.. John is simply the greatest guitarist of our time

i remember so vividly the chills I got hearing this as a 14 year old. This is the track that made me want to learn guitar. I thought there was no one better, and by sheer talent, John evoked the strongest emotions with his guitar. I've been playing for a little over a decade now, and I can say that nothing touches the emotion of those solos. I can play it now; the notes, at least. But you can't recreate the passion that it took to bang out those notes straight from the soul, on the spot. So frantic, so desperate to be heard, so meaningful in a way that words fail to describe. I hope you all needed to hear this like I did tonight.

This is a strange performanceif you think about it... Flea is in a trance, Anthony is motionless while singing, and john is explosive! A soon at it climaxes at the solo Anthony goes wild :) Truly one of their best performed songs of all time

The feeling which comes while witnessing such a performance is incredible. What a beautiful and powerful display of emotion. Everyone is on point, wether it is Chad, John, Flea and Anthony. What gets me the most is the build up on the guitar during the verse. It makes me feel in a roller coaster when it reaches the highest peak before letting everything go.
