I can tell you that if you have an original key, it is very difficult (or impossible) to open it without damaging the housing. The board is no problem, only the plastic gets damaged.
Very good video. I'd like to know more about getting the top cover off the key fob for the original key. You said that you need to carefully run a knife around the edge. I'd like to see that done, and see if it ruins the key fob when putting it back together. Thanks again!

I would like to see this too. The 2 lock buttons on my original key stopped clicking and they don't work anymore, even after replacing the battery.
Can you just use the replacement board with the original key?

If the key broke off from the shell itself do I need to get the new blade cut or can I somehow transfer it to the new fob?
