Are you guys serious? I'm genuinely curious, as I have played a lot of L4D, and have recently been introduced to dark souls, thanks to humble bundle. I managed to beat it, I'm doing ng+, and have 2 more characters I'm playing on normal ng. Still the game feels brutal, and whenever I feel like I've been doing good for a while, the game suddenly reminds me how punishing it can be and I end up dying 10 times in a row. Doing it on SL1? I will never even consider trying this. However, in L4D, this is pretty much trivial. The AI is so dumb, he didn't even have to pull off any skilled moves like leveling a charger or cutting a smoker's tongue mid grab. He just... walked through the level pretty much.
I really like that even when it's a simple change of mode, there's a little intro voice for every character if it's solo only. Detail in Valve games never cease to impress.
