Today we did decoration for two baby boys special event. We used a DUO arch frame with white and light blue pillowcases.
Balloons I used:
Betallatex: White sand (5", 11")
Pastel blue (5", 11", 24")
Qualatex: Blush inside white (5'', 11'', 16'', 24'' balloons)
Mocha brown inside white sand Betallatex (5'', 11'' balloons)
Pale blue (16'')
Silver ORBZ 10" and 16''

Very beautiful 🤩 how much did you guys charge for the backdrop setup? I ask because I have the same arches and have no clue on how much I should charge.
We charged $550 for this one. When pricing, take into account the place, the equipment (your investment), the client, etc, and most of all, for what price will you be happy to work for after all expenses are counted ;)
It’s really so lovely! Is that price for the backdrops alone (with the vinyl) or the backdrops and balloons plus props?

We never get invited to stay 😭
LOL. No we simply go and return when the party is over or at a convenient time for the venue.

I love your beautiful work always every single one, I love that you show all the details while working you guys make it look easy the way you both work , but we know the hard work involved. You have that creative touch that makes your work look beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us. I’m pleased that you guys are not shy about how much you charge. Is it wise to ask clients what is their budget for garlands before you price them and pay yourself or do you tell them what your price is before you know their budget?

Most of time I give my price for the job and if my clients says it's too much, I ask about budget and think what I can do. Sometimes I give discount, sometimes suggest something else.

When you start adding clusters of 5 what sizes do you use? And do you continue with clusters of 5 to finish the garland?
We use 4 ballons 11” and 1 balloon of 16”. And we end with just 11”

What type of vinyl do you use to add names to the fabric backdrop?
We use vinyl stickers. You can find them in Walmart or Michael’s in art craft section

yes, we use fabric backdrop and vinyl sticker, holds very good and easy to remove after.

Vanessa, we have spacial clips for the frames. we attach balloon grand to them with 260 balloons

Thank you Lukas. Additional clusters of balloons I usually attach with the same fishing line, but if I already cut it, I use a half of 260 balloon to attach cluster to balloon garland, same for big single balloons.
