Honestly the changes with the collective bargaining agreement changes are good for the NBA. One thing that makes the NFL so compelling is that most teams can win each week. The NBA very top heavy and have been for too long. While the Miami big 3 era was great for the NBA it set a bad tempo for the rest of the NBA.
Windhurst is an American who will never going to understand a kid who grew up in poverty in Europe. Giannis wants someone who let him play and help him, instead of he had Bud whose bad decisions he had to fight through. New York isn't tempting to a player who likes to lay low and be with his family. Actually it's a disgusting place to live in for him.
That’s wild ass hell for real but it makes things more complicated and interesting cause it means that we will hear more drama with stars being unhappy with there franchise and wanting out. And more players going to different teams when they find out that their team can’t do trades or sing buy out players, or free agents. Or form a super team or Bring back players. And also bring back coaches potentially and can’t draft or afford salary cap. Space. And can’t win championships and decrease fan population terms of franchise.
I get Giannis maybe moving from the Bucks. But why would he choose NY? He's not a big market guy, he's not a movie star Lebron type guy, he's like a dad that's his attitude. Also NY has a bad management over the decades so why would he trust them? If anything why wouldn't he prefer to go to like OKC where they have a young MVP candidate and a ton of young talent. That's where Giannis should want to go logically
I heard that Bron is actually making a new super team. He is relocating to the Hornets, KD, Jokic, Giannis, and Curry are all joining him. They are all accepting 30k salaries and new shoe deals with FUBU. Management is already changing the name of the team to match the new talent. They will be the Charlotte Bubbles. Look it up if you think Im joking.
This is how it always works in professional sports, particularly the NBA. The small market teams always get the small end of the stick. The new CBA rule changes come just in time to limit how good small markets can be. How, is probably what most are thinking. Well todays super teams (both LA teams, Golden State, etc.) are all aging and nearing the very end of the road for stacking their teams. Almost all of these super teams are located in big markets. On the other hand the small market teams are about to enter a new age where they not only have immense young talent, but also have an excellent draft stockade. These are teams like Memphis, New Orleans, Oklahoma State, etc.. Meanwhile in this new age where small makers rule, the big markets will have retiring and unhappy vets with almost no draft picks to recoup for the future. So what happens is the small markets are going to be the ones unable to keep all of the talent they gained by patiently waiting for their opportunity. The big markets on the other hand will be able to stay competitive by signing all the other talent that the small markets will not sign. I bring this up because it is a pattern. Rule changes never go into effect unless they benefit the big markets. Because it’s a competition the small markets always suffer. The CBA rule changes could have been done during the last CBA, but why would they do that when the biggest markets are just entering era of stacked teams. It’s a sad truth that most of of professional sports is so manipulated that the best team on any given night many times will struggle to pull out a victory. It’s particularly too bad that one of the most beautiful sports, basketball, is the worst of the major sports. Just look at a game from this year’s Lakers to see how bad it’s gotten.
I missed something, ‘you can’t trade multiple player for one play’, “no more stumper team’. Then later ‘they could trade multiple players for Giannis”, ‘they could make a super team” 🤷🏼♂️.
All those deals to get the chip a few years back are about to potentially bite them in the butt. They have no first this year. New Orleans has swap rights in 24 and 26. New Orleans or the Knicks own 25. New Orleans owns 27 outright. Bottoming out isn’t really an option for them if they plan to rebuild through the draft, short of finding a way to get a lot of picks back for Giannis. They can potentially do what the Lakers did and kick the can down the road, hoping a few trades can raise their chances a bit, but the CBA changes you mentioned will make that challenging. New Orleans did Jrue a favor by sending him to a winner but they also gambled that the Bucks couldn’t keep Giannis long term. The CBA may make that happen.

Bucks can basically get rid of their entire team outside of Giannis and Portis and rebuild and they can do it this off season. So I think they have options
I feel comfortable in saying that Adam Silver is the worst commissioner in sports. The best thing that could happen to the NBA is if that rumor about him taking the Disney CEO job actually happens. NBA has been a disaster of a sports league since he took over. Ratings are even down.
He's not remotely the worst. Of the big four, Goodell I'd say is better for sure given the NFL has persisted and only continues to grow nation-wide and world-wide, but I still think Silver is better then both Bettman and Manfred. Bettman has expanded the NHL to great new markets, but doesn't have a clue as to how to market NHL players or the game to young folks, while the MLB under Manfred has been in a steep decline for a multitude of reasons and has been surpassed by the NBA under him. NBA ratings were up this past season too, thanks to much better parity in both conferences that has resulted in crazier playoff matchups.
@@MrRapmaster19 none of the names you mentioned have actively made their sport worse so much so that the sport's legends are saying how bad it is now out loud. Silver has done just that. Same guys weren't saying these things when Stern was running things. In that way he is the worst commissioner in sports.
Even with the new CBA organizations can negotiate with a player liker what the Spurs did from ‘02-‘15 years. Thats how they kept winning. Good front office will always find a way
The Bucks can't really rebuild though or upgrade via pick trading given they have no 1st round picks available to do so. Their '24 and '26 1sts can be taken by the Pelicans thanks to the Jrue Holiday trade, while their '27 1st will be taken for sure by them. They also do not own their '25 1st cause it, ironically given the reports, belongs to the Knicks.

we need some decent young and veteran players to sign
This is like the 4th time national media has been certain Giannis will leave. They’ve been wrong every single time. I’ll wait until I hear it from him or the team and not someone whose job relies on getting views/likes/etc
bro he aint leaving he made that pretty clear
he hinted at leaving later in his career but he said for now he doesn't have plans of leaving lmao

This CBA will kill small market teams just as much.
How? looks like it's mainly screwing over big market teams. The billionaire owners can afford it.
@@blue-phoenix115 it is, but small market team will never become big market teams. Warriors from 2007 were nothing compared to now, and that growth is basically impossible under the new CBA
seeing him on the raps would actually be amazing especially along scottie barnes who can get better with giannis because giannis will pass the ball a lot more than like siakam and if the trade is for vanvleet why not run scottie at pg and giannis at pf amazing duo right there
Never happening ..
He would be a legend and king in New York with the knicks and it would be INSANE
Ik it creates excitement but I hate how players don’t stay 5+ with a team. Same with other sports too, you don’t get to know your team as a fan.

Bad beat on my Prize Picks from this video. Cruising to an easy win when Thibs benched Randle. Ugh.

Or form a super team or
Bring back players.
Hmmm okay buddy sure thing
you're dumb if you actually think anyone believes thay
did anybody else hear the vacuum at 5:20 ?
When will next season’s schedule be out?
I missed something, ‘you can’t trade multiple player for one play’, “no more stumper team’. Then later ‘they could trade multiple players for Giannis”, ‘they could make a super team” 🤷🏼♂️.
If you’re one of the most expensive teams. That would preclude the Knicks if they keep their salary below that threshold.
@@AMHoops u think this is a good video? Honestly
I love how there’s a vacuum in the background. 💀💀💀
He won't leave he seems very loyal
Hey Casey would you mind if I use your researches to make spanish baksetball videos. I don't think it takes away and I will always link them to you? Lmk what you think.
All the speculations are hysterical.
Giannis won't join the Mavericks if Kidd's still there

Giannis don't like New York

I don’t think he would leave bt I’m also not gonna rule it out either I wanna see who there next Head Coach is gonna be cause ik he’s gon have some impact in tht decision and truth be told they should’ve fired Budenholzer a long time ago, probably during the 2020 season but he come out the next year and saved his job by winning the finals the next year cause tht would’ve been your chance right there at hiring Darvin ham who honestly should be the bucks head coach right now bt all the should’ve could’ve would’ve went out the window along time ago now I’m curious to see what’s next and if tht move doesn’t pan out u best believe Giannis is going to want to move on, and really to look for a bigger city bigger attraction and a bigger market I also hope they don’t lose out on Khris Middleton because that’s also gonna play a part on his decision as well bt he doesn’t seem like the type tht wont honor his contract tho so I think plays his contract out then he’ll take time to reevaluate things with this franchise
Agreed! Why not Giannis and Luka? It would solve both their problems. Defence and fast breaks Giannis has it covered, while the half court offense and end of game situations Luka has it covered. #BestDuo

You can't blame Giannis for wanting to leave the Bucks.
Giannis should demand a trade to the Knicks for Randall, Barrett and Topin.
That's a garbage return for a perennial MVP candidate.
@@langdondaughtrey2687 I agree. It'd likely take Randle getting traded to a third team, RJ and one of Quickley or Grimes going to Milwaukee, as well as all of the Knicks' first rounders they own for the next 5 seasons (including the potentially 4 1st round picks they own from others teams, ironically one of which being Milwaukee's 2025 1st).
Randle - mid
Rj - mid
New York as a whole - mid
Bucks can basically get rid of their entire team outside of Giannis and Portis and rebuild and they can do it this off season. So I think they have options
I think the kings would also be a great fit for the Greek freak
In that way he is the worst commissioner in sports.

nah the bucks are still a decent team without him, i think at worst they'd be a 9th or 10th play in seed
