Hello NRC, I do LOVE the Persephone, especially the added features like Port & Starboard Lights, The Smoke in the Stack & now Radar System(actually in the evening video saw it first). Carving a Jesse Model & placing next to Nick would get a lot of LOVE...cheers
Thanks so much! I feel a bit guilty adding all that stuff that wasn't in the tv show, so your comment means a lot. Plus, the kids of all ages who watch my boat down at the local park love those little details, so there's that. Regarding Jesse, if I could figure out how to incorporate an indigenous figure, in today's hyper-sensitive environment, this important character would have had his rightful place on deck a long time ago. Cheers.
@@NaturallyRC You're Welcome. Much Love, I agree. If a Scale Size Jesse was carved. It should be carved by a Shishalh(Sechelt)Nation Carver...just a thought...cheers
One reason might be the attention I pay to the audio. I record things like, waves, birds, etc and mix them all together with what I hope is the right musical score, which can take as long to do as it does to edit the visuals. Thank you 🤗 for the generous compliment.
Thank you. I was pleasantly and TOTALLY surprised how well she cut through the surf, and even handled the side rolling waves quite well. The hull is deeper than it might appear, which helps, and there are heavy steel weights along the keel line -- also key. And maybe the hull designers in Italy just did a good job.
Nice video brother! I haven't done rc boats in many years, the last one I had was a Victoria sailboat! Your video makes me want to get another one and go to the lake!
I don't know what took me so long either. Scale boats are great fun, and so relaxing. Although this day was kind of adventurous, most times I just find a nice comfortable rock to sit on, sip my coffee and watch the boat glide around. Great for lowering a person's blood pressure.
Amazing as always. I need to join you there. Looks like a great spot for some video and pics. I want to try a camera on the bridge of the HW, or Imara.
Please do join us. There's a threaded spindle on the roof of the Persephone where I have been known to mount a GoPro. Interesting shots that way, though I don't do it often.
Great question. The model's interior is a work in progress. There's a stove pipe on the roof, but no stove so far. No head. The two yellow buckets on deck are not for that LOL. There is a cot under which the batteries for the lights and radar are located. And there are G-rated girlie calendars on the walls which you can sometimes spot. Figured Nick would have some of those.

Handled quite well actually. enjoyed the Persephone bobbing along riding the waves. :)

Does the Persephone have V berth with galley kitchen and head? Or does Nick just have crackers, peanut butter and tinned beans and bucket?
