I remember watching this anime in the past and man was it absolutely gorgeous, it really was a "Hidden Gem" quite literally. The story, the animation, the visuals, the characters, the anime itself was amazing. And then it just ends, it was.. quite.. the journey that's for sure, and judging from the Manga Readers says in the comments, they must've been traumatised. I myself didn't really feel anything, well ofc I did (especially when you sympathised with the characters and feel empathy), but I didn't really feel much, being the cold hearted numb person I am. Until I started to feel more of my emotions and whatnot, then it suddenly hits hard. On the surface the anime is cute, wholesome and beautiful, just gems hanging out and doing cool and epic things... But it escalates so fast, and the lore seems alot darker under the bright and shining crystalline surface. Phos underwent such character development in such a short amount of time in the anime. Im curious about the manga, but I dont really read manga.
