So my period is due sunday. This monday i got very very light brown/rust spotting for like a day and a half. This occured 6 days before my expected period. My breasts are very tender and feel swollen, very mild cramps. I have never been pregnant before and this is the first time this slight spotting has ever happened. I have a feeling this is my month ill get my positive because i just feel different but i dont know if its in my head because i want it so bad. Hi, it could be a sign of hormonal imbalance, it may be worth getting it checked out...it sounds to me like progesterone levels. Have a look on the internet about it as there is lots you can do around varying your diet in the lead up to your period to help balance things out better. In general, how in touch do you feel you are with your womb?

I had unprotected sex a day before my ovulation according to my calendar. And I am spotting about 6 days after my ovulation and 8 days before my due period.
So I had light bleeding (spotting) last week, 2 times actually, One on Tuesday and one on Friday within few hours and it stopped. Next day there was nothing till today, been having backaches, cramps all around my abdomen. I was late on my period. But today I'm having light bleeding again with upper and lower backaches.. could I be pregnant or my period just started?

Ok, so I'm very confused by my body today lol. I have a 25 day cycle mostly. Sometimes 26. I seem to have ovulated on day 7 or 8. So first question, why do early? So now it's cycle day 15. We did do the deed unprotected (whilst drinking, so oops) so I don't remember if DH got outta there in time lol.
So on cycle day 13 (6 dpo) I started getting very very light brown watery discharge. No clots, no pink, no red. I could see when I wiped during about 3 restroom breaks. Yesterday about the same. And today, just a teensy bit on FMU wipe. I also have watery stools (sorry, TMI) so today I'm 8 dpo. Test yesterday said negative obviously but I couldn't wait lol. My last pregnancy I found out on I believe 9-10 dpo. Should I test? I do a lot of lifting at work and I don't want to exert myself and lose the baby, even if it was unplanned.

Hey there, everyone. Last December I took a break from the oc pills I was in for 4 years straight. O started then back 2 Sundays ago and I started having unprotected sex again. Yesterday however I started spotting a very very light brown and I woke up this morning....to a light brown again....it never filled the panty liner. Today is 9 days before my period. I'm not sure if it'd breakthrough bleeding because I've started back the pills or if it's implantation. (4 years ago when I started taking the oc pills for the first time ever I've never started bleeding before my period not this far ahead anyways.... maybe a little spotting the day before never 10 days ahead. I also have these slight headaches and mild cramps.)

@@OhMyMamaBody I ended up getting my period as it was only because of my body getting used to the pill all over again. I never spotted my first time taking it but I did this time so there's always something new with a woman's body I guess.

I got my peak on July 29th and on 6dpo I notice brown/pinkish mild blood when I wipe. The bleeding didn’t no fill up my panty liner. I am currently on 10dpo and still have mild bleeding. For the past several months, I’ve been spotting for 3-4 days before my period each month. This is a watery brown spotting (I know it’s watery because I use a menstrual cup and it’s nowhere near as thick as when my period starts) it’s not early pregnancy because it happens month after month (although we are trying to conceive).

Sounds like hormones to me. Progesterone/estrogen imbalance can cause these kind of symptoms
I have the exact same problem. But I’m not trying to conceive. I spot up to 5 days before. And up to 3 days after.

I started having cramps ish today on a side of my lower stomach area , it’s not a lot but it’s brown , and my period log says my period is due in 5 days (it could be wrong because sometimes it expects like 3 more days and I get it early or so .

Hmm. Sore breasts, fatigued, cravings, constipated, etc. Slight pinkish spotting and increased discharge 12 dpo (including weird twingy cramping during the spotting) 1 week till my period is due. Not sure how close to menstruation cervix is supposed to lower, but it's still super high and soft(?). But, I have the kyleena IUD.. Mixed feelings waiting for my period to arrive (or not).
Edit: Day of est. Period start. Some medium-ish cramping and light spotting, so we'll see I guess. 🤷♀️ Have been fairly nauseated and certain smells are super strong, but could just be PMS?

hello, i hope you can answer my questions. last week Apr 6 or 7, i noticed a brown color on my panty liner. and a few days after, it seemed like a brownish pink color. then on Apr 10, when i went to pee i saw 2 drops of light red color on my panty liner and later turned brown. could it be spotting? i did the Pt and it says negative☹️. then yesterday, it went to a bright red and it was kinda like light flow. and today Apr 12, it has a normal flow not too heavy and not too light with small amount of blood clots and egg white consistency blood. so why was i spotting for 7 days, then got my period the next day? i really hope you can my questions and with good news.🙏 Thank you.

Hi, you can get an early detector test which you can use already 3 days before your period is due. Otherwise it’s better to wait until your period due date. Have you watched some of my early pregnancy symptoms videos? I always knew I was pregnant before any test could confirm it 💗
I had a miscarriage last year April 8th and been trying to conceive ever since that when I got my first period.. last month January 3 I ovulated I had unprotected sex during my ovulation time.... I have irregular period. My last period was started August 2, 2022. I really know that I am going to have my period because I felt breast soreness. Hi, is your expected period late? I would take a test if you are a few days late. Sometimes early pregnancy can really feel like pms. Place your hands over your womb and feel into the space. Does it feel different?

Hi Vicky!!! I’ve been looking for some advice. I’ve been spotting for 2 days, period isn’t due for another 8 days. My cycle is always VERY on the clock and I’ve never experienced any bleeding. My partner and I had unprotected sex on my ovulation day and only 3 days after I stated spotting lightly and then with a bit more flow and cramps and now it’s starting to go away. My menses is due after 4 days ...please help me as my gynaecologist suggested it is impossible to get pregnant naturally as I have endometriosis? And it’s also a possible side affect of citalopram or withdrawal of it, yet none of these videos I’ve seen ever link these things. My spotting is not due to ovulating as I ovulate early (I feel it so I know) and spotting is days later, so hardly any of these videos or websites about spitting help me because none of them relate to my situation. Citalopram can cause spotting ladies, FACT when you look it up!!!!!! Why can’t a single doctor mention this??!!!!
Hi…this sounds like a very individual case and if your medication is causing you to spot then I would recommend discussing this with your doctor because it sounds like it is upsetting your cycle.

I'm not sure it is the citalopram, I just read it in the "rare side affects" and docs previously rules-out other problems (2019-2020). Now 3 years later, I'm 49 and it WASN'T spotting as I first thought, but an early period, 10 days early. Normal for my age! so possibly hormone changes but they ruled that out in 2020 after tests!? Prob hormones this time as I've had the dizziness, headaches, extreme fatigue (struggling with my job!)
And BTW, I had "spotting" in 2016 too which was pregnancy, so I know this can be a reason, however sadly I MC'd at 11 wks. I was age 42.

I got my period july 25-28 it started at like 10 pm that day and on the 28 it was gone prolly in the middle of the day :
Then my ovulation days were 2-8 (me and my partner did it ) , a couple days after I started noticing I was getting constipated but very bad I struggle with constipation but not as bad as I struggled this month , and maybe 6 days past ovulation I felt my boobs hurting ..
I was cramping mostly on my left side I ended up going to hospital and I was told I was constipated so I have been taking some stool softener I also caught this bad bad back pain randomly it took a day or two to fully go away felt like a Charlie horse on my lower left side and then I’m was cramping on my left side then about two days later it went to my right it was mild ..
I went to the doctors again 13 days past ovulation and I got a negative pregnancy test ..
But I started spotting 11 days past ovulation & today is aug 22 ,2022 I’m on my day 14 past ovulation and I was spotting in the morning time brown and then by noon it was gone like nothing . I had a HINT THE SMALLEST dot of blood on the first day once , it only came when I wiped , anywho my period was suppose to come on today aug 22,2022 and I still haven’t started bleeding, my cramps feel like they’ve gone away but my breast are still sore they’ve felt like this for about a week now 😩 any ideas ??

1 - 1 1/2 weeks ago, my period tracker app says I was most likely ovulating.
Yesterday and today I have been spotting.
Next week I am due on my period (Monday).
I’m unconvinced that it’s ovulation spotting due to the 1-11/2 week’s difference between suspected ovulation and spotting.
Also, I’m unconvinced my period is early because, despite being slightly stressed, it’s much lighter than any period I’ve ever experienced off of birth control.
My cycles usually last 26 days and if this is my period then my last cycle was just 18 days!

Hi, it could be completely different as your body needs to just after miscarrying. If you know your natural signs of ovulation, you can start by looking out for them and writing them down in your calendar.

Had unprotected sex the day before my highest ovulation day. 6 days later I started spot bleeding a rusty brown very light didnt even fill a panty liner for the day. Today the spotting stopped. My period is supposed to start on the 31st. My cervix is still high and soft and feels what I think is closed. I have very minimum cramps except the day i started spotting i had a very intense pinch on my left the next day i had that intense pinch on the right. usually I get intense cramps a couple days before period. Tonight i just feel extremely nauseous. Have been really all day. I have been having these on and off headaches and as my boyfriend puts it my breasts look "perky" lol i have 2 kids and my breasts are far from perky but noticing a change. Not too sure what to think really, if pregnant wasn't really planning on it but a child is always a blessing.
I did test today it was negative but I am still 8 days from my missed period so I don't know.

I have same symptoms, 5-6 days before my period i noticed i will have brown spotting. But i noticed it always after ovulation just passed. Some months could no spotting, but it came again. It always comes spotting before period.
So i booked appointment with gynaecologist, just to be sure.

Took a break from the oral contraceptives last December and I only started taking taking again two Sundays ago..... yes I've been having unprotected sex since I began taking them but I don't remember ever having breakthrough bleeding the first time I started these pills about 4 years ago.... so I'm not sure if it's my body getting used to the same pills or if I'm having implantation bleeding....
